Shame Lamela missed but otherwise I thought this was an important game for him. 120mins in a full blooded English cup tie. He worked really hard and tried to drive us forward. Sure not much came off from him but the spirit was there for us to see at last

I thought he linked a few of the better moves up really well, he clearly has thinking brain and quick feet, but most of all he didn't hide and actually had movement... Especially after Hull's goal, lovely bit of movement by him.

The boy is a gooden, a real gooden.
