If Poch is the super coach he is made out to be then surely Andros is just the type of player he was brought in to improve? I think the lad has the skills to improve and would like to give him more time before getting rid.

Haven't got particularly involved with the Tranny Window this year so don't know the consensus on Morgan S but I can't see how he's miles better than Capoue or Bentaleb. I'm happy with the squad we have + Fazio.

So the fans who've watched him develop from a teenager haven't got an equal view with a manager who's coached him for a month?

Because coaches always make the right decisions?!

He got into the England team last season and was arguably the best player on the pitch before he was out injured for most of the season. He's only just burst through at Spurs and is only 23. Who knows how much more he has to develop.

Finding a left footed winger who can beat a player and put in a good cross isn't that easy. He'd be a great player to stick on the left wing if we have to switch to 4-4-2 at any point.

Totally agree. He was amazing at the beginning of last season. I appreciate we don't see the training but sometimes players play better in matches not training.

I rate him highly, factor in he's a spurs fan and I would hate to see him leave before we know his potential.

AT has potential but all the things I'm hearing (and seeing) about him not being able to understand the instructions from coach makes me think it's best we find a way to make this deal happen quick!

sorry i just had to laugh. You do realise this is 2014 and players with the quality that townsend has under the bonnet cannot be bought for that price. Man u bought phil jones for 17mil in 2011 ffs. Selling townsend at that price is just an awful piece of business

You're right, Poch told him to run around & not pass, make sure he takes shots, especially when team mates are in excellent positions. More importantly, he told him to play this way for 70 minutes until Lamela came on. Then Lamela that fool also didn't follow Poch's instructions! Come on dude ...what game do you watch. Townsend has ZERO end product ...for all his running & dribbling & direct play there's ZILCH!
