Conte will have loved that he, Sarr and Gil were the ones left on their feet. Good luck to them all. If they put the work work in I hope they are given a chance
Decent little group of u21 players on the fringe of the first team currently in Gil, Sarr, Parrott, Scarlett, and Devine. Not bad at all.

Didn't he play on the wing some during his loan, maybe at Millwall? Always good to be versatile if you're trying to scrape a spot in the squad. Still think a Championship loan would be best considering he's still only 20. Feels like he's older because he's been in and around the squad for so long, but still really young. He's still got another season before the year that even Kane broke through into our first team.

He's absolutely destroying those fitness tests, well ahead of everyone in that video above. I think he used to train with Dele in the offseasons, and Dele for all his other faults was always noted as a fitness test monster during his time here. Killing them at Everton again this year I saw in reports.

Yup, played as a RW, LW, SS and CF during his most recent loan at MK Dons.

That was entirely fitting because just hours earlier, at a Tottenham Hotspur Global football development session with young adults from ChildFund Korea, Parrott had told football.london when asked how gruelling Conte's sessions were: "It depends who you ask. I'm quite a good runner naturally, but yeah it's been tough. It's been hard work but it's all preparation."

There was a snippet about Southampton being interested in a loan today. That would be excellent for him as they can be excellent at times, genuinely need cover at CF but also need cover for the incredibly inconsistent Redmond at LF.
Southampton really? 8 goals in L1 in 41 games is not a lot to write home about

He was playing on the right of attack in training. Was probably the least involved of all the forwards.

Be great if he can step up this season. Might be too early though.

I know it's very optimistic of me to say this but I think he's ready to be part of the 1st team setup. Unless we get another winger/wide forward, it will likely be Kane, Son, Kulu, Richarlison and Lucas as the dedicated 5 attackers ( with Perisic able to step in as needed). So in theory, it will be between Parrott and Gil for that 6th spot as the flexible attacking player.

As thing stand, Troy edges Gil on physicality and generally looks ready to show what he can do. Also, he's one of those players who seems to play better and raise his level when playing with quality teammates. I'm eager to see how he does this pre-season.

Some great finishes and link play there.

Impressive highlights reel. Even taking into account the fact it’s League 1, the variety of play is more important, awareness to play others in, and also some really good finishes off both feet. Kane’esque (young Kane), surely if he impresses in preseason, I’d like to see him stay with us rather than go on loan, spend time working with Conte, Kane, Son etc, hone his skills. Plus, as said above get his club trained status pinned down. Performance like that on the fitness test will get him noticed, now needs to perform in the games.
If we are looking for RWB, CB and AM, then I’d like to see him kept as the 6th forward.

If Parrott really has an engine like that on him it’s hard to really find a downside with him. As technically he’s excellent. Possibly his biggest failing is pace, saying that it’s not terrible just not what these modern wide player in a 3 has. I actually always thought there was a touch of the Sheringham about him.

Those really are some fantastic finishes. I really hope that the club does whatever it deems best for his long-term development. I can see the possibility of either scenarios (loan or being retained). But if Scarlett and/or Devine are loaned, perhaps he's kept on as the Scarlett replacement?

I think almost all of the academy players who came in and around the first team for the last half a decade have been midfielders. And not many physically strong players either. This lad looks like he can be a very physical presence up top. We are long overdue an exciting attacking player from the academy

Honestly think he will be one of those players who will probably do better dropping deeper. Becoming a mason Mount type of player. Lacks that target man strength or the speed to play up top but his stamina and work rate will help.

Been linked to Preston North End on loan by Ally Gold, as well as Swansea, Middlesbrough and QPR taking an interest.

Would be good if he and White got a loan to Swansea together. Little double deal.
Only problem with Swansea is piroe and obafemi although the latter and Troy link up very well.

There’s some good conversations going on with a few players with Swansea club have very good dialect.

Russell Martin seems to have a comparable playing set up to us and seems like a good egg also.
