Why oh why is Stuart Pierce the man put in charge of England's up and coming players. The FA is just utterly clueless, fucking idiots.

I think we should deffo look at bringing in a continental coach/coaches to coach our U-18's/U-21's
No offence to Stuart Pearce but football has changed since he was a player.

We're getting dominated in midfield, but something tells me we will score a set-peice and hold out for a 1-0.

Annoyed we (Italy) didn't get a penalty, but looking very good otherwise. Verratti has been dominant and Insigne is causing lots of problems. These 2 look like future world class players, a bloody shame they're owned by PSG and Napoli respectively.

We're shit in all the same ways our senior team are shit. Can't keep the ball much and lack any creativity.

The thing is, those 11 players out there really are not the best young players England have to offer, but we end up fielding what is almost a B team in order to appease club managers. The FA are indeed clueless, but they're spineless more than anything.

And the thing is when England ultimately are shit at the next World Cup (if they even get there) we'll get all the same rhetoric about how we need the same continuity between the u21s and the full team like Spain and Germany have but then continue to get the likes of Wenger moaning that his young players are too tired to play for the u21s.

Is it still 0-0 then? Sure the goal didn't count, they took a free kick to restart and the scoreboard and other score websites still have it 0-0?

Chaos. The tannoy announced said 1-0, scoreboard changed and everything. But I really can't tell from any replays why it was disallowed.

Hang on, didn't we score? was it disallowed?

Yeah. While they were showing replays of the goal the referee noticed the lino had flagged for a foul. The Sky Sports commentators didn't realise.

I'm assuming it was Caulker on the Italian fella. It was a typical legal in English football challenge, so it was harsh.

Pearce is somewhat restricted by player pull outs and club power.

Where are Hughes, Wilshire, Jones, Shaw and co? Would love to see us field our best under 21 side for one of these tournaments just once.
