Son doing an absolutely smashing job of filling in for Kane. Been a fucking liability lately and doesn’t receive nearly as much criticism as he deserves.

Disappointed the ref gives them a penalty, it was a penalty but so was our call. Deeney needs to see a doctor big strong bloke falls over and hits the deck at the touch of a feather, cheat.
Nice to see the new boy come on and cope well and gutted we missed the win by a millimetre.
The saddest thing of all is that we can't even beat the likes of fucking Watford that's how far we've fallen.

I wasn't too discouraged by that game. I think yeah if you're comparing it to our best moments in recent years then it sucks but if you look at it from the perspective of a rebuild that was a few encouraging things. There was a significantly better midfield set up I felt with more solidity and you can see how Ndombele could take over from Winks in that role. We're clearly lacking a focal point up top that's for damn sure. I thought in terms of actually playing football we were better today than recent weeks, there were a few good moves here and there.

Squad obviously needs some reinforcements and a few players clearly need to be pushed out. I'd be looking at Tanganga instead of Vert and then bringing Davies in with this set up if you want to continue with Aurier. I thought Aurier kept threatening to have a great game and then it wasn't coming off but overall he did well. I thought Eriksen was alright when he came on and Gedson had a few moments where you could see he had something.

We need a DM, how we haven't bought one in the last few windows is beyond me. We can't build shit upfront with stability at the back. Aside from that, it doesn't matter how many creative players we have in midfield, with a focal point we aren't going to score many.
It is so unbelievably obvious what the team needs, yet the feeling you get is that the likelihood of Levy actually pulling his finger out and buying the two players we're crying out for is slim to none.

I'm very very close to the breaking point. We endured years of neglect of the squad in the transfer market and we are now seeing the results. The remedy is clear, but then it's been clear since Wanyama injured his knee five fucking transfer windows ago now that we've desperately needed a DM, and nothing whatsoever has been done about it. I don't know if I can carry on giving a shit about the dreadful football being served up if the club can't even make the commitment necessary to even attempt to compete.

Chelsea Home, Brighton home, Norwich away, Southampton Away, Liverpool home and Watford away. Plus a draw with Middlesbrough thrown in

5 points out of 18 is fucking dogshit. We could be 11 points off top 4 later
Do yourself a favour and focus on 40 points rather than top 4 now

Came in at around the 60 minute mark and we weren't bad for that part. The big negative is the obvious lack of confidence from a number of our players. Several times we had a centerback or midfielder looking for a pass but opted to hoof it instead in fear of losing or misplacing it. Such a shame as I saw real determination out there from several of our players and you can tell that they weren't happy with the general performance.

On the positive side Gedson looked good from his short cameo and Eriksen as well. The latter really wanted to win today and put in a good shift.

Why will a new striker help us? He’ll just have Son, Moura and Alli all stood on his toes all game. Our lack of width is criminal.

Son is twice as good as Lucas as a stand-in striker. Hopefully Lucas sees himself back on the bench asap as an impact sub.

It’s the board fault we’re in this position for not strengthening the team, most of the times being reactive and making signings when we have to. Poch warned Levy so many times and Levy made it look like Poch was at fault for the poor season and a lot of fans thought Levy had to sack Poch

We have 1 decent fullback (Davies), no capable DM, no backup striker. The squad is dead, this season is dead

Will enjoy watching Eriksen dominate games for Inter while we’re playing shit

It's bordering on neglect, our best RB is'nt even considered a good enough RB to play a balanced system.

No back up striker for a striker that has missed significant periods of previous seasons.

Great infrastructure yes, but the football side of things simply not good enough.

We need to figure out how to blame Eriksen for this. Yeah he was probably our best player when he came on but he's leaving so it's his fault

Draw was fair enough. It was a scrappy game, a lot of pinball and being forced to clear our lines, which Watford did their best to make it that way with long balls and direct wing play and meant we didn't have enough control of the game or the ball and were unable to play the game in their half for long enough spells and build pressure. And when we didn't have that, you were never going to see the full potential of the XI selected today. The first 10 mins was a blueprint of how the game needed to go, patient probing possession with nice interchanges, but beyond that it never materialised.

As a plus though I thought there was again a better commitment today. You could go round most of our players and pick out moment(s) where they got an important block/tackle in and putting themselves on the line, the last couple of league fixtures we've at least been getting that from them - which hasn't been the case for too long now.

Effort 10/10
Shooting 1/10

nothing in the box to aim at most of the time.
It wasn’t a bad performance.
Eriksen did not put in a 10 for effort thats a fact. Did not go into 50/50 once. Shying away from every challenge.

No striker - no goals! Why leave it till the end of the month? We lose points every season by not replacing injured players in key positions (mainly Kane) soon enough!
Because we can't really afford to be reactive in these situations. The pool of strikers available who can hold up the ball, are good enough for a side with long-term ambitions of reaching the Champions League, want to join, are in good enough form and fitness to make an immediate difference, likely to suceed in the Premier League, whose clubs are happy to sell mid-season, are eligible for a work permit and don't have their price doubled due to the circumstances, is somewhere between tiny and non-existant. It's not like our rivals are out buying the players we need, for the most part they just don't exist in the January market. Under Poch we bought two backup strikers - one was sadly total pants, one I thought was okay but Poch chose to release despite not having a new one secured.

This isn't good enough, we have better players than Watford but you wouldn't know it from that game.
