We are an average team who play dull, plodding football.

that’s who we are. the only thing I’ve been enjoying has been spending less of my time on weekends watching, following or being particularly bothered by premier league football.…and I’m not even in the current Spurs squad ;)

This isn't just about today's result, it's about previous results as well

If you watch the game today, could you tell what our game plan was?

Or in most of our other games?

But we beat Newcastle & i genuinely thought that would be the catalyst towards world peace.

How tf have West Ham become one of our (now many) Achilles heel teams?? Been an absolute shit show ever since poch was sacked

Going off the back of our inability to press or show any energy, what worries me is how often the full backs especially Emerson seemed to have no options and found himself isolated.

There was a real lack of movement all over the pitch. No real clever interplay apart from when Ndombele puts himself o the ball

This is a very disappointing result against a decent, well organised, solid West Ham team. I think most of us thought we were going to lose today so I am trying not to be to upset. It is always horrible losing to West ham, especially now as they are on the up and we are on the down. They have improved and we haven't. It Is as simple as that.

I think there are positives to be taken out today's game though. We was not as bad as people are making us out. I think we were the better side for most. West ham started strong , of course they was going to, at home, up for it.. We defended well and when they was on top we didn't let them score. We grew into the game. I thought we kept the ball well at times and actually passed it around which was nice to see. I do think West ham were happy at times to keep their shape and let us have it but we did open them up a couple of times but we always made the wrong final decision. West ham defended very well, kept there shape well and tried to counter.

We should of had a penalty early on, but even VAR didn't give it. He took his foot. Both teams had some chances , but we were the better side at HT. I was quite happy with the performance at HT but knew we had to score and it would come back to bite us.

2nd half, there was no difference really and it was similar to the first. Again some decent moves and kept the ball well but our final decision making let us down. It was a nervy game from both sides at times and you always felt West ham looked dangerous on the counter but for most we defended well and dealt with them. Skipp, Romero , were very good today and dealt with most. It is is always going to be hard against Antiono but for most Romero dealt with him well. And he won some good strong headers/challenges and brought the ball out well. Royal is a bit of a worry and I personally do not think he is any better than Aurier. I actually think Aurier could of done a good job. He was not as bad as some made out, he got forward well and put in decent balls. Regulion is a big worry for me , he is not good enough and I want him to go back..

I have had my doubts about Nuno now from quite early on and I do no think he's up to it. We don't seem like we are going anywhere, no plan b , no reaction, wrong subs at wrong times.. You can't really argue about the side but I think Lucas was very poor today and would of been better of the bench. God we miss, Lamela. How we let him go and kept some of the others is crazy! Lucas done the same thing he always does today, win the ball make a good run and run into a player and give it away.

Kane was poor from the start, he doesn't look the same, just the way he moves doesent seem right. He kept giving it away, running into trouble, I think he made one or two good balls but that's it.

Ndomble was okay today I thought and was one of the better ones , he tried getting forward, should of had pen but again we want more but that's the same with them all.

Son very poor. We see this with him, he's very up and down. When he's good he can be world class when hes bad he is shocking and dont do anything.

Apart from all this , we was unlucky today. West ham done a job , but we didn't get outplayed or anything. We were the better side for most and either team could of scored at times. Losing it was harsh on us but the most worrying thing for me is our decision making . No one to make something happen, we need a Erisken type. We miss Eriksen and Lamela.

I do think Nuno will be gone soon but we was unlucky today and we have to move forward and put this one behind us. It was a game where one goal was going to win it and west ham scored from a set peice.

What is next ?
We kept the ball well in our third, but attacking wise we were really poor!! The tactics were subspect and Nuno seems to be averse to making changes mid game.

But we beat Newcastle & i genuinely thought that would be the catalyst towards world peace.

The performance against Newcastle was better, but as posters said after, it's only Newcastle.

They left lots of space for us in that game. Today we had nothing and we played at such a slow pace we let WestHam get back and organised before we could even pass the ball forward.

When he can move the ball quicker we look a lot better (skipp ball out to the right at the start of the 2nd half as an example)

Either Nuno is wanting us to play slow, or has no interest to try get us playing that way during the game. He is as static as our players are.

Can't really disagree with this.. I remember a few times we did get through by a good through ball and one of our players just choose the wrong pass or just completely messed it up. That's what I'm trying to say. Our final ball was shocking. We had chances to score

Just back in hotel from game after sitting surrounded by knuckle draggers., All the lateral passing made me feel like i was at a tennis match .Emerson is a bit meh, takes for ever to get the ball out of his feet, Kane looks like his next team will be my walking football team and Son hardly got a touch.
Wet Spam werent much to shout about ,but Moyes plays to his strengths.
Their support is awful and they won there cup final.

9 seriously
Yeah not that I’d actively sell them, that I wouldn’t be upset if they were sold. In over forty years of supporting the club, this post Jose malaise and the spill over into Nunoball has been some of the hardest to enjoy.

Well, what has he done that deserves any real credit? There are considerably more negatives than positives to his time at spurs so far.
Christian Romero
Emerson Royal
Bryan Gil
and especially in my opinion Pape Matar Sarr
I don't know about Golinni yet but that's not a bad start in my opinion.

We are a very average team who play slowly with the ball and do not press without it. We have become the mirror image of what we were under Poch

We’ll probably finish between 9-12 in the league.

As a fan base I also think we are prone to massively overrate some of our players. Our recruitment by and large has been awful.

Who to, originally RA, more recently the Saudis. During their twenty plus years various people would have been interested. While they are here, they are holding the club back
How about they drop their price to a billion, make 900m profit so we get in owners who will bring us trophies

Like everything, there is a price at which ENIC would seriously have to sit down and consider any offer which was tempting.

Let's remember, they're a major investment company who've spent twenty years building up the club to what it is now (and let's not kid ourselves about what kind of shit state we were in when they bought us).

Persuading them to accept a figure for the club with all its world class facilities, and the ability to hold any number of world class sporting events and concerts...which comes to less than what it cost them to build the stadium, would be beyond the gift of all the finest negotiators in the world. I reckon if you turned up with £1 billion they wouldn't even give you ten minutes, and to be honest, I wouldn't even blame them.

£3+ billion or sod off, I reckon. (who's 'RA')?

.

How many of those players will plug the 26 goal hole that he’s allowed to be left unfilled by Bale and Vinicius not being replaced?
