So apparently Poch doesn't have pull to sign players, Ndombele only saying he does because he signed completely negating the fact he chose to sign for us. Pep only manager in world with pull because he wins trophies, Spurs are a dirty team because Fernandinho, Delph, Aguero are angels apparently and they completely negate that they have bought their way to the top with owners with disgusting ethics. Cool. Always amazes me how a team forgets their own teams dirty tackles but won't let go of two against them.

Sell Kane, they become title challengers.
Luckily Sir Harry seems to have lots of contractual obligations that will keep them being Spursy.
Spurs were still in the title race and in good form before Kane got injured in mid Jan. 48 points from 21 games. The wheels came off after that - even if, initially, the team managed to scrape some narrow and somewhat fortuitous wins from a run of poor performances. 23 points from the remaining 17 games. Kane made a couple of comebacks but was never back to full fitness and the team never rediscovered the form and consistency from the first half of the season.

A fully fit Kane is a phenomenal player. Superb finisher of every type of goal. Excellent creator too. Works hard for the team. Even allowing for team affiliation and rivalry, I genuinely find it baffling that so many on here dismiss him as average / tap in merchant / penalty taker / selfish. He is rarely average other than when unfit or when used incorrectly (Hodgson's England). I concede, though, that he is good at tap ins (excellent movement and positioning); penalties (cool-headedness and hours of practice); and sometimes selfish (like most top strikers, because they back themselves as being more likely to score than anyone they pass to). But he's also a brilliant passer and very unselfish when he's certain that a teammate has a better chance of scoring.

You don't get to score the number and variety of goals that he has scored in the number of games that he has played - in the Premier League, the Champions League or for England - over an incredibly consistent five year period without being an outstanding player. If he gets himself fully fit and refreshed over the summer (he's barely had a break for three years), and with a strengthened Spurs squad behind him, he'll quickly remind the doubters just how good he is next season.

least there are some knowledgeable posters there!

They've got their quota of bellends like every forum. In their case, I'd say most of their bellends have supported MC since the oil taps were turned on and their sensible members have been there since Maine Road and Division II.

The narrative around Harry Kane sincerely needs to stop...it's being pushed out by Spurs fans, it goes like this: we are a better team without him.

How very stupid .

Love it if other fans don't rate Kane. Makes it even better when he spanks goals in against them. Which he will, again, again and again.

Same as the lazy assumption that Son plays better without Kane. Son's role is different without Kane but he's scored loads and had tons of good performances with Kane in the side. In the 6-2 against Everton they scored a brace each - clearly they don't work well together :cautious:.

I disagree, spurs fans aren't pushing the narrative, that we are better without him

On the whole, its people haven't seen him play regularly and judging him on his england performances who think he is overrated

It's just tossers who see us get a result vs City then don't pay attention against Bournemouth, West Ham, Brighton but still spout their opinion as if they watch us everygame.

I dont understand how city have a fans forum when they dont have any fans?

Even though they win everything they are so fucking irrelevant because of the way they've done it.

I'm also not entirely convinced Pep deserves massive amounts of credit, I mean he inherited a squad with Aguero, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling and Fernandinho and then spent £625m in three seasons, it's not rocket science is it?

To sum it up I dont give a fuck about their opinions on football in the same way I dont respect Michael Carroll the lottery louts opinion on economics. They can fuck right off, plastic bastards?
