Not sure how this is possible but while I well remember the "oh no" moment, I didn't quiet recall it like above. Checked on youtube and we have a 2nd commentator that does the "oh no" for the same goal... How is that possible?:cautious: Default position for commentators vs Spurs.

I find it utterly bizarre that ex pro footballers come out with shite like this. The game is about entertainment and yet Hamann classes moments of skill as disrespect for opponents and wants free kicks given for it? Next thing they'll be saying a Modric pass with the outside of the boot is disrespectful too. You know that if it had been Ronaldinho there would be a different reaction which just shows how hypocritical it is.

Well yeah, but I wouldn't be saying it should be outlawed. It's entertainment. If it happened against us I'd enjoy the tackle then move on with my life. It's not a crime to showboat. If they're winning and we give them the space then respect to them for doing it.

The absolute only reason this whole thing is news is because it’s Richarlison and Carragher was commentating and went completely OTT. Any other player would’ve got a little mention during commentary and that would’ve been that.

As for Hamman, what a stupid ****. Silva’s goal line clearance for Chelsea last night should’ve seen him receive a red card for unsporting behaviour seeing as he blocked it with the outside of his right foot. He should’ve let it in for a goal, the arrogant bastard.

Appreciate the point you are trying to make but I think the Diaz example others have posted is a fairer comparison. I know you were being hyperbolic but a reaction to save a goal vs having a bit of fun with keepy ups is quite different.

I sometimes wish Kane would just decide he's a 9 and hold the ball up and make runs forward instead of dropping deep to pick the ball up near the halfway line. So many times he plays our forwards in down the wings but there's no one in the box to finish off the move. Slightly infuriating. But even with Kane adjusting his game, he is twice the player Mitrovic is.

I watched the Fulham game and first half mitrovic played really deep. It was the first time I’d seen them and I found it really weird. I thought he’d be up top pestering the centre backs. That didn’t happen until the second half. First half he picked up the ball from deep and running with it a few times. Not what I expected.

(I can see why their fan might say that though. They absolutely love him there).

When Kane drops off that is queue for others ie Son to get behind tbf that normally happens.

Which is fine when the runner behind is central. When the ball is out to the wings and the runner can't get central, there's often only the opposite wing forward there to meet a cross.

When I used to play a very long time ago, I was a classic old fashioned CB- I’d happily clatter any skilful forward that came near me, but players like Mitrovic were a proper nuisance because they’d be on you the whole game and no matter how hard you hit them, they kept going
