Sounding like Liverpool now, we should have kept our heads we would still be top. Can’t work on what other teams do no complaints on our sendings off.
I don't have any complaints about our spendings off.
Both should have gone before they received reds.
But that doesn't excuse what James did.

I have had nothing from my Chelsea mates, the intelligent ones (there are..some) see it for what it is and are moving on. Any of them crowing are delusional pricks who have no self awareness.

We are living in an insane simulation. I haven't come into this thread since the match because I thought it would be everyone mocking us, but no, seems like pretty much every other forum is saying what we all have said.

We'd rather get knocked out by a haymaker fighting our way then lose on points and "keeping our dignity". I love the way we play, I love our manager and these results will happen. But we will still dish out a couple of drumming as well.

This is a marathon and not a sprint. Next year is going to be our challenging year and I hope Levy dares to do!

I'd like to see more being done about elbows into the face. I think a lot of the time there is no need for it. With concusions a central focus more recently I think they need to clamp down on it. I don't think there's any need to bend the arm above 90 degrees to go up for a header either. Even when players stretch the arm out at ground level I don't think the arm should go above 90 degrees. Too often players are getting their arms and elbows above the opponents shoulder which is always likely to connect to the face. I just don't see why you can't shield with arms below the opponents shoulder level. Even MMA fighters generally grapple shoulder level and below so you don't need to get the arm that high.

  • don't like him. His surname's too hard to spell
I love this. Classic Little Englander mindset. "Postecoglu" is pronounced exactly as it is written, whereas to pronounce "Howe" correctly you have to be aware that the "e" is silent.

Ummm... I rather think that was nice ironic humor.

By the way, the intonation on Postecoglou is wrong. It should be pronounced PoSTEcoglou, not PosteCOglou.

Interesting if that's how it would be pronounced in Greece, with the stress on the second syllable, but I recall a reporter asking him if he was saying his surname correctly in one of his first interviews, and Ange confirmed he was. Of course, he was pronouncing it the way we all do.

Perhaps one of those case where the pronunciation becomes Anglicised (or Austracised!) and the person with the foriegn surname begins using it themselves.

As far as I'm concerned, the only way you can truly define how a name should be pronounced is by how the person with that name pronounces it.

Some early Wolves fans thoughts...

Romero & Udogie sent off and van de Ven & Maddison off injured tonight...
The rest of them are going to have to do a lot of running as well and we have 2 extra days rest...
Such a shame Neto is missing. He'd rip their makeshift back line to bits.
Hopefully Cunha might have a bit of luck there.
Let's not count our chickens
After watching bits of last nights game, I'd go 4411 and get all of Hwang, Cunha, Bellegarde and RAN high up the pitch as often is as feasible without over committing. Lemina and Gomes in centre mid. Defence will be a worry, but we need to take advantage of their injuries and suspensions
Shame Neto isn't fit, this game would suit him perfectly. As it is, if Spurs play anything like last night, you'd hope Cunha, RAN and Bellegarde would have some joy, possibly another Spurs red card.
No Richarlison either
I suppose it's a bit harsh on Doyle/Sasa to be dropping them both after one game (especially as us fans have been advocating them both being involved for so long), but I agree with your team above. I think Gomes/Lemina will be useful at snapping in to tackles and closing Spurs down, while Bellegarde will be useful with getting us up the pitch.

As others have said, it's a huge shame that Neto isn't available as I reckon he'd rinse their defence.
Horses for courses, isn't it. We don't have the grooved first XI/system that we had under Nuno and it's daft to pretend we do. So change it as it suits.

Like I argued against playing three centre halves against Sheff Utd and I will against Fulham and Burnley as well.
Shame Neto isn't fit because he's our best player tho, really.

Any match he misses makes us weaker. (Unless I decide he needs a rest 😉)
They are really short of anyone to partner Son. He is still insanely good though.
Would be disappointing to lose this one having gone on a decent run . 12 is still a relatively low number of points . Our home form is very solid recently , but has been heavily reliant on Neto performing to his usual high standard .
I'd take a draw at this point just to settle things after last weekend .

Some of the players have expressed their annoyance with recent penalty decisions that have gone against us in the media during this week . Let's hope that annoyance is channeled correctly in our performance this Saturday .

Spurs are unlikely to change their way of playing . Their away form is quite good , but they are not scoring huge numbers of goals ( apart from against Burnley ) .

O'Neil & co have had another week to figure out how to play without Neto . Let's hope they have used that time wisely .
Studying the spurs defensive line against Chelsea hopefully.
Porro’s missed training as well by the looks of it
We have a decent set of fixtures coming up post the International break which should ( if we are at the level we think we are ) yield us a decent number of points .
Fulham and West Ham away , Burnley and Forest at home , Chelsea at home , Brentford away and Everton at home . Arsenal away is the difficult one clearly .
If we have no Neto for all of those fixtures , then clearly we'll need to find ' a solution ' as Nuno would say .

No one has really said it but I reckon they'll miss Neto...
