Funny how everyone says 42 minutes and conveniently forgets we didn't touch the ball for the first 5.

haven't been through the entire thread and the only change would have been Hutton for Corluka, in just as much that lennon and charlie play well together the same applies with hutton and Bentley on the right.

Guess that is true, Bentley plays better with a wing back.......would it have worked on Saturday with the pace of Arsenal........not sure, it would really depend on Hutton's discipline, positional ability and willingness to get back quickly - All things he has been bad at in the past - You can get away with this at times V weaker teams.......But ARSEnal??:shrug:

But Arsenal's main strength is the central midfield area, we had to try and do something to not be dominated in there.

But they did dominate the midfield in fact our midfielders looked clueless at times as there was no outlet for them at times. All that have 5 in the middle did was invite pressure onto ourselves.

dont know if anyone has mentioned it already but against Man Utd, Chelsea and Arse we have started with Keane playing in a wide left position? this in my opinion is accomodating a player when really if harry wants to play 4-5-1 he should use an actual left midfielder in that role (Kranks, bale etc) it just seemed especially on saturday that we had absolutely no balance whotsoever. And also once again Palacios had a shocker!

let me know your thoughts

But there's having 5 and having 5.

They need specific roles, shape and the correct personnel, instead of the mish mash of a disaster that we ended up with.

See BC's post at the bottom of the previous page, for me it sums it up perfectly.
