Wheeler dealer 'Árry restored my pride in Spurs with his entertaining football and car window chats but Mauricio has taken it all to another level. His gentlemanly behaviour, well mannered responses and steely demeanour have earnt my respect for all things Tottenham, plus his continuous grooming of our youngsters shows me that finally we have the manager we deserve.

Hugo
Toby
Dembele
Eriksen
Kane

Can't decide between them.

Special mention to Dier.

I guess we're more of a team these days. Look where it's got us!

Player of the season undoubtedly Toby though.

Well I'm just not capable of letting that go. Insert your own 'Paedo-Poch' punchlines.

I don't usually tend to think of any players in the squad as favorites; but when I look back through the years, I definitely have players that I remember as my favorites. and for all the skills and abilities that make players like klinsmann, ginola, van der vaart, etc., such iconic figures at the club, it's usually a different type - more solid than spectacular, who come off as decent, level-headed fellas, and players who've served the club for years and are unmistakably Spurs - who I tend to have liked the most. though hardly amongst the best, Gary Mabbutt and Michael Dawson have been two of my all-time favorites at the club ... decent blokes, humble, respectful, and 100% Spurs.

so in surmising, while I have no favorite in the current Spurs squad, it strikes me as entirely possible that by the end of his days at N17, Harry Kane may well have God-like status in my eyes.

After being at WHL for the Dortmund performance, Toby stood out to me head and shoulders above the rest. Saying now he was the Prem signing of the summer.

But then Dier just takes no crap *see clip of him standing up to Yaya Toure at City* and I love that.

Alli for his no fear and sheer skill for such a young lad.

Hugo for his weekly worldie save.

Kane for the goals he scores plus the workrate every single game.

Lamela for the way he's turned his Spurs career around. Got his head down amd worked his arse off. Respect that.

Dembele for bossing the midfield whenever he sees fit. If he's on his game nobody seems capable of getting that ball off him!

In conclusion, if you asked me in August I'd have said Hugo or Kane above everyone else. Since then every player near enough has done something to become a possible favourite and it's become impossible to pick just one. That's no bad thing either. Means the whole squad is working as one and playing togerher, for each other. I love that.

Besides Vertonghen, simply because he is great, I don't really have one favourite. I reserve it for one of our summer signings after confirmed CL (y)

Dier is falling in the Modric style of love for me.

We always had Bale (now Kane/Alli) who had the limelight, but we knew our sub-star was vitally important to making the team tick.

It's that love I have for Eric. Plus he's kicking Henderson and wilshite out of a England spot. plus he's a leader. plus he's from my neck of the woods (CHAV = Cheltenham Average)

Toby Lamela Dembele Kane. Not necessarily in that order.

Whenever we've scored I want it to have been Kane. I just love seeing his total tick up, particularly after the first few games when a tiny part of me worried he might not be as good as I hoped. All of our players are great but Kane embodies that schoolboys' own stuff that keeps me loving football.
