By saying that "Zaha could get me off my seat in a way that we've not really seen since the days of Bale and Lennon on the wings", I think you are giving massive discredit to Son, who has the ability and the stats to back-up that he does exactly this. Do yourself a favour and rewatch his goal against Chelsea in November.Pochettino clearly loves him which should be reason enough for us to sign him, but also if we have any designs to play a 4-3-3 then a signing like Zaha is essential as we're pretty light on wide players. His ability to beat a man is unrivalled. He also draws fouls, creates space for others and against teams that sit deep, a player with his talents would be a massive asset for us. I think he's quite a significant upgrade on Lucas personally, he's certainly more consistent and Lucas actually rarely beats a man when playing as a natural winger and has generally been better as a forward for us.
On a personal level, whilst we've had great players since, I think Zaha could get me off my seat in a way that we've not really seen since the days of Bale and Lennon on the wings. He's the type of player that you get excited when they pick up the ball in an attacking position.
