Brits always miss when it's most important, you know it!
You always seem to forget that;
When you say that the Premiership as so much stronger than all other leagues......it SHOULD be; the top4 in England are currently stronger than most out there. When it comes to places from 5 and down the rest seem as good or better many times. Just look how the English clubs always have to leave the UEFA-Cup when it gets close to the finals. Why is that? Couldn't be that they's so much better than the rest, could it?
Best thread for a long time! Some so called Spurs supporters pain for Chelski is just hilarious.
Another unprovoked jibe at England, fantastic. I don't know how someone with such a complex over anything British can support an English team.
The UEFA Cup this year has two German teams and two Ukranian. That doesn't prove much other than those four teams have done well. I don't think that what happens one year in a cup is a clear benchmark but what happens year after a year in the CL is a better indicator. That aside may only prove the top four are the strongest but maybe they are the strongest because they are tested week in weeek out in England and have to raise their game. This year especially, there have been few easy games and maybe the chemistry and balance of defensive solidity and attacking flair has stood English teams in good stead.
The European competitions are the only ways of comparing teams in games but if you look as to the reason why English teams dominate the Champions League, other than European heavyweights like Barca and Juve etc, you have to ask why? Surely suggesting that this league is the most competitive and has the highest quality is not the most absurd thing to say in the world. But then you have this complex about England and English managers, even ones of your own team allegedly, that you have to deal with.
