Helb is going to Birmingham.
Harry wanted 3 from city, fact.
Fabiano from Sevilla, Fact
City and sevilla hate us, fact.
We bid on Fabiano, fact.
Front line identified as area to strengthen, fact.
Mod said first info re Fab was in may, fact. (wether it was in may or the mod got it wrong i dont know but he said it in this thread in reply to someone)
Bidding for Fab since start of window, fact based assumption, but a fair one on the evidence i would say. - however you try to dress it up, it's an assumption
Levy backed out of deal because of price, Fact.
far less assumptions than facts i would say.
Mancini plays the most negative dull football imaginable. City are only winning games due to the individual quality of the personnel. Mancini's record as a manager, once you scrutinise it, is not great Manager of Inter winning a very weak Serie A while never progressing in the Champions League.
Gone before December for me.
Had any of those draws been wins - our future would be so different to what it is now. City would have pipped us to 4th, they still might have done if they had some faith in Hughes.

Are there links to Mario Gomez? If so that would be phenomonal!
No! Archie over at SO asked what people thought of him (and stated it wasn't ITK) and we were linked by an unknown ITK about 30 minutes later.
i would love you to be right. but, if their winning (for whatever reason) he'l stay, if not he'l go..
So you don't allow for the fact that some of those draws might have been losses? Because, from what I remember, City were a tad lucky just to draw a couple of those anyway.
On the other side of the coin, what if Modric hadn't missed half a season, forcing us at first to change formation and style completely because we'd lost our key creator. What if Lennon hadn't missed half a season, forcing us to figure out how to play without his pace, something that took a while. What if Bale had broken into the side earlier in the season rather than just in the second half of the season?
It is incredibly unfair to our management and to our side to start qualifying their success in acheiving our highest ever points total to finish fourth ahead of a side who we outplayed twice, and again on the opening day of this season despite their huge summer reinforcements.
Oh, and as for the ITK, I haven't read the past 40 odd pages because I've been out with a friend, but let me guess....
"Bitch bitch bitch, Ronaldinho is past it, Ronaldinho only likes the nightlife, Gomez is shit, he's a poor mans Pavlyuchenko, Forlan is too old to spend any amount of money on, unless we get him for two donkeys and a guava, Radamel Falcao would be amazing, he's got everything we need, no he doesn't, he's shit, he is only proven in Portugal, you wouldn't want him if he was called Roddy Faulkner, yes I want Suarez he's amazing, but he's only proven in Holland, though he did score goals at the World Cup, but players who score at the World Cup are shit, we should sign Zamora because he's never gone to the World Cup, and besides, Suarez is a cheating ****, I don't want Muntari, he's useless, I don't want Parker, he's no different to every signing we made 1995 - 2003, but Mourinho likes Muntari, Bayern in for Muntari, Ashley Young is one dimensional, but he's only been out assisted by Fabregas and Lampard in the last 3 years, he's got no footballing brain, Keane out, Keane in, Keane is a legend, Keane only points and shouts and masturbates, he's better than Defoe though, we need better than Palacios, Dawson, Ekotto, Crouch, Huddlestone, Redknapp, Levy, Darren Eales and Chirpy!"
Is that about right?
So what does that tell us? That tells us Harry's targets. And that City won't sell to us, nor Sevilla. And that was borne out by us not getting any of their players. What else is there to say on that matter? Is it a fault of the Spurs board for not making those clubs sell those players? No. So what's your point?
OK. But it doesn't really tell us much. It tells us that at some point we bidded for Fabiano and as we know, he's signed a new contract. For all you know, Fabiano never wanted to come to Spurs but was after a big contract from Seville. It could be that Levy was playing silly buggers with the bids, or it could be that Seville fucked us about. You don't know, I don't know. The problem I have with your line of thinking, is that it's something that's down to us,when in all reality no-one knows. But wouldn't it be nice to back the board that's got us to 4th, that has the best interests at heart for the fans? No, that would be too much like supporting.
So you spin your limited facts as much as you like. I just think it's wasted negativity for the sake of it. Because you can sign in to your Football Manager game and restart it over and over again until you sign Messi for £50 million + add ons, and you can make "Negotiations Successful" on Pro Evo if you do the same thing there; mostly by offering the world on a platter, with an array of dips.
So I choose to back the effort that's obviously going on. That's all.
