Agree.

I also don't know why people are getting so focused on City visiting their message boards and that. Leave them to it, our results are the only ones that matter to me. At the end of the season this will probably change but for now all we need to do is keep picking up 3 points ,the other teams can worry about their own results.

i wouldn't mind Benzema...maybe levy will get him cheap like VDV.

What are the chances of us really signing Rooney come on lets get real.... We cant afford the 160k he wants a week, and we most certainly wont be able to notch up the 40+mill they'll be asking for him, considering they paid 30m.

Aaand any deal involving Rooney, would almost certainly involve Bale going the other way. No thank you

Yes, even if Rooney does the unthinkable and is interested in a move to us, with THFC ready to build a 400m new stadium and funds being relatively low for transfers, do you really think we could conjure up a 40m bid and pay him at least 120k a week?

People like Luka and VdV I think I read have clauses as best paid players, meaning they earn whatever the top earner earns, thus having 3 players at least on 120k a week.

Forget it people! We're not gonna go from wage cap to utter wage madness. It's an impossible transfer.

Further to that, Rooney wouldn't even consider us, unless we kick on from here, and are title contenders still come January, another unlikely situation.

Im not being negative, Im just being realistic. Like said above, surely the moves that have to happen for someone like Real to get him should interest us more, i.e getting our hands on an outed Benzema, like we did with VdV when they signed Ozil.

Not sure Real Madrid would really want Rooney, Jose may make noises and disrupt MU, but I think he may be more interested in Llorente. Either way Benzema would probably be surplus.

don't agree...

jose getting Rooney would be right up his street.

he would try and get the best out of him, and sort of show fergie up abit,
that would nark fergie up, rooney has lost his mojo, jose would love to make him great again.

also, ronaldo would be a major influence on getting jose to pair him up with rooney again...

i can see it happening, if he were to leave utd......i cant see rooney staying in england.

In terms of wages Rooney is one of the few players on the planet that pays for himself. Even though his image is tarnished in this country, worldwide he still sells a hell of a lot of product for whatever club he is at.

...Which is why Real will be all over the boy, acting like him at a cheap brothel.
