Why does Modric get higher ratings via SC polls compared to the media/pundits?

yeah Gibbs has 3-4 central points that he makes , one being Mods is shit .
Gibbs will argue this regardless of how well he's playing .
Why would anyone bother arguing ?.....I can only assume its boredom..

Drogba already has more assists this season than Modders did for the whole of last season.
I repeat: Why do people mention REAL class players when Modric threads come up?
Drogba this season, has scored as many goals as Modrics WHOLE SPURS CAREER.
How can ANYONE not trust ole Gibbsy that he was right? Record bad start to a Tottenham season. Too small for the Prem (constantly injured/gunshy).
2 of my Modric etc threads got 15,000 views. All SCers associate Modric with ole Gibbsy. The SC polls are reflecting the ole Gibbsy wars from yesteryear, trying to convince yourselves more than anything. Giving Modric all the excuses in the book in order to tack another two points in his ratings.

Getting over the leg break mentaly
Hud us out
Lennon is out
Strikers are to blame
Getting used to the prem
Played out of position
Pitch was crap
Weather was crap
Teams a re playing dirty
Spurs players not on same wavelength
That is the tip of the iceburg of excuses people make for Modders. NONE of these are lavished on the JJ's and the Corkys when they have a bad game. It's mentioned, but they are given shit marks.
My all time fav excuse for Modders not playing well was "Ref was always in his way".

I was in the woods of New England a week or so ago.
I could smell the slight smell of strawberries. Look over at the missus slathering on the lip balm.

VDV had just about his weakest game for us stuck out on the right. Modric was pulling the strings first half and was tidy in the second.
No way can you tell me that VDV was better than Modric today.
Stick to American football ffs.

It is clear that your agenda is to wind people up, I don't know why anyone bothers to get so worked up by it as it is just adding smoke to your fire. I would like to know your genuine opinion on Modric's ability and worth to the team without this whole ole gibbys act.

Modric was pulling the strings? it was Jenas and VdV who were pulling the strings for the most part and VdV had two assistances.

It is not an agenda when I posted this over 2 year ago. Modders faded into the mist while they were attacking us.
It's topic of the week, and again he's played exactly like I said he would. Nice short passing (usually backwards), jumping out of contact (one of them resulted them getting a goal When he didn't want the ball to hit his face so he turned his whole body and shied away from the intercept)
Nice dive too. If he had gone down normally we may have got the pen, but he had to add that flourish to get him booked. Or even better ride the challenge and try and score. Because he is good at riding challenges. Maybe he should have a word with BAE. Since he was in the press with an anti diving campaign.
He needs to grow a pair when he gets into the penalty area. Usual missed shots off target and crap end product when trying to set up the strikers.

Are you sure that is how it happened? I seem to remember a Pav shot being parried by Robbo and Crouch tucking in the rebound. I might be wrong...
