This. I'd also add that whenever i've seen him interviewed, especially when he worked for the bbc during the world cup, he actually came across as being surprisingly intelligent. I think his bad reputation has maybe been exaggerated a bit.

Also, maybe, just maybe, Man City will be looking up after a summer of splurging on players like Kaka, Ibra and Aguero and would let him move to us. Getting in Adebayor and Lukaku would give opposition defences a little more to think about next season.

The guys you know who arn't pricks, in terms of an educated guess, in our squad would be: Gomes, Dawson, all three Croations, Crouch, Bale, Sandro, Palacios and probably Pav. That would be my guess anyway....

I think Adebayor is smart enough to know that our song about him and his immediate family is just to get at him, and whilst we may "hate" him on some level, if he were to sign he knows we'd support him if he got goals. That's the nature of the beast of football. Football fans are fickle as fuck!

The bastard had the last laugh anyway.

I think Crouch is a prick as well to be honest, he just gets away with it because hes a gorky streak of piss. Ekotto comes across ok in interviews, and Ledley is pretty chilled as long as you keep him off the Stella. In general I agree with you though, modern day footballers are pricks.
