 I can't figure out whether I'm a Cradiot or an Iank Eek
Unfortunately, I have never phoned a call-show, so can't really answer the poll (no matter the sensitive state of my mental health).

If harry was to leave now it would be a disaster! It would be bye bye modric and bale too that's for sure.

'Arry, is that you?

By Harry's maths around 35 people in the ground were dissatisfied with our performance against Blackpool. The rest absolutely loved it.

Pathetic.

Harry will be gone before too long and we will start over again. And it'll be tough to compete. We may be sucessful we might not.
But to speak like that about a man who masterminded our recovery from probable relegation to Champions league football for the first time really is sad and fickle. How many other sides have represently england in the last 8 of the Champions league again?

I am all for opinions and I understand the frustrations when Harry makes a media boob, but if you took him word for word on everything you'd end up in an asylum.

He is only talking about fans like you afterall!

He's really not doing himself any favours with lines like that... Unless, in actual fact he's trying to engineer his way out, in which case he's doing himself a massive favour...

Not sure if he realises that managers generally spend a few years at a club then move onto another, fans (apart from half of Chelsea's fanbase) stick with one club all their life...

HARRY REDKNAPP has branded armchair critics “brainless idiots” for suggesting that Tottenham’s season has been a failure.

Spurs’ midweek defeat at Manchester City ruled them out of a Champions League place and afterwards callers to radio phone-ins said that the season had turned into a disappointment, some even calling for Redknapp to step down.

But the White Hart Lane chief went on the attack yesterday, saying that Spurs fans who actually attended games loved what they had seen during the club’s first Champions League campaign.

He said: “They’re idiots who don’t even watch football. That’s why I don’t listen to phone-ins.

“‘Hello, we were rubbish today.’ ‘Were you at the game?’ ‘No I wasn’t at the game but I heard it on the radio’.

“When I start worrying about what they think, I’ll be in trouble. 99.9 percent of the people who go to Tottenham have loved everything they have seen.

“I don’t know where they’ve been for the last few years – not watching Tottenham.

“They’ve seen some great football this year, great games. They don’t have any brains, they don’t understand.

“If they think they should have Champions League football every year, then what’s happened in the previous 19 years of the Premier League? I didn’t see Tottenham making the Champions League then. It’s not something that has happened every year and we’ve had a disaster because it ain’t happened this year.”

Considering the sudden influx of defensive quotes from Harry... Graham Hunter tweeted this on march 20...

The day after the West Ham game...

Flip me if Hunter's instinct was accurate, it would certainly explain our lack of appetite from then leading up to the City game in the League.

Its funny because I have thought for weeks that our effort levels wern't right, until City.

Come now, you know that's a logical fallacy.

No idtiots can't do comlex maths.
All idiots call radio talk-shows.
'Arry calls radio talk-shows.
Therefore 'Arry is an idiot.
Therefore 'Arry can't do complex maths.

Im pretty much with Redknapp on this one. But i will give my pov anyway.

We're in our best position for over 20 years and in a far more competitive league than it was during those times. We really do have some delusional fans, and i understand that when you have tasted steak you dont want to eat burgers, but its still better than eating spam. Sure i was disappointed that the striker problem wasnt sorted, but Levy wasnt prepared to pay over the odds for an average player with potential and Suarez isnt the type of player we need and Redknapps right there, isnt he?

And im fed up of hearing the "2 points from 8 games", but its true. We went from relegation candidates under Ramos to champions league in 1.5 seasons - how many clubs have done this? Look at Newcastle and Leeds - both took Liverpool's place for a couple of seasons and looked what happened to them. We cant compete financially with the new sky 4 and our place in the footballing hierarchy is with Liverpool, Villa and Everton.

So enjoy the steak when it lasted but its back to burgers for the foreseeable future. Just thank yourself we're not eating wet spam in the championship. Thy gambled paying huge wages to has-beens and look at what its done for them.

No one is doubting what he's achieved, but lets get realistic here....everytime a section of the fans get frustrated and voice a bit of discontent Harry is going to rip into them via the media...cant see this being a healthy relationship...its only going to exacerbate the sitution. Ultimately Harry is going to make his job even harder by alienating sections of our support.

Hows that good for the immediate and long term future of the Club?

Harry is a dinosaur who speaks his mind, tells the truth when maybe he should be more diplomatic etc this is because he is old skool. Some of our fans need to realise this and get a grip, because they sound like a bunch of school children.

He's old skool alright, but that has nothing to do with his extreme defensive behaviour.

although he has his obvious faults (he is as subtle as a bull in a china shop with regards to the media) he has done a great job at our club (for which he is paid handsomely to do)

nothing to do here, move on to next season?

Old school. I thought old school meant you were tough. This man has admitted that ought point one percent of the supporters turning on him are enough to make him throw a fit. Old school lady maybe.

I know 8 year old girls tougher than Harry

I too am inclined to agree with Harry.

Things haven't gone right this season for sure, but we've had a hell of a lot of injuries, many to key players, Dawson, Defoe, King, Charlie, Palacios, Thudd, Bale, fuck me, even Benni went down with an injury this year.

That's quite a huge chunk of players, especially when you consider that they were pretty much ever present in the season which got us into the Champions League, even Ledley made a sizeable number of cameos. Then factor in niggling injuries to Rafa and Billy, which have meant that they've been playing below capacity out of necessity for a sizeable chunk of the season.

We've also had some horrendous decisions go against us recently. If the laws of the game had been applied in both the match against Chelsea and Blackpool, we won the matches comfortably and are 5 points better off than we are now, and who knows what a difference that could have made on Tuesday night.

I can't help thinking that there has been a little lack of perspective regarding our seasons performance.

Nobody is denying that Harry's made mistakes, his treatment of Krankie is mystifying, the signing of Pienaar equally so, and the transfer window was a mockery, but seriously, is that worth condemning him for when he's achieved so much for/with us already in a comparatively short space of time?

Personally, I think not.
