Jol said all the politically correct things that portrayed him in a good light while we lost to the likes of Grimsby, Leicester and Liverpool's second string. Ramos said nothing and wound people up. Harry tells it like it is.

Most fans know sod all about the game at the highest level, most have ridiculous expectations. We are no exception to the rule. Quarter finals of the champions League and 5 or 6 in the league. Simply not good enough for a team that is accustomed to top 4 and regular Champs League.

If we cannot support a manager who took us from bottom to our current position in 2 years we don't deserve success.

Harry has been here for almost 3 seasons.

For 90% of that reign we have been very successful and that is what he should be judged on and to sack a man for achieving 90% success would be wrong.

But, he has always touted the 2 points from 8 game as evidence of how fans should be thankful to him so now he is in a similar run he should take this into consideration.

As I said it would be wrong to sack him for being 90% successful but not for patronising the fans with obvious hypocrisy.

He dismissed as cranks the fans who blame Redknapp for the disappointing results in the last two months. "They don't have any brains, do they? Who rings up radio stations? Idiots. When I start worrying about what they think I'll be in trouble. 99.9% of people who go to Tottenham have loved everything they've seen."

Full article here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/may/13/harry-redknapp-tottenham-luis-suarez?

My verdict is that Arry is the idiot. He said "They said...". Really??? Is he telling me that he had never seen Saurez play before so he had to base his decision on what the scouts were telling him? Like Arry didnt watch any of the World cup where Suarez was one of the young starts. Like he could not make himself watch a couple of games with this player to have his own opinion? WTF??? Just one more thing to add to his list of managerial failures - wrong substitutions, wrong team selections and tactics, inability to rotate the squad, etc.

Ramos was unlucky that his bad run started with the start of the new season. Arry's on the other hand happened at the end of this season so even that it might turn out to be worse in absolute terms, it wont look so bad in relative as it happened right after our CL run

We're all stupid for wanting better results than 1 win from 14, especially when that run contained:

Blackpol x2 - 1 point
Wolves - 1 point
Wigan - 1 point
West Ham - 1 point
West Brom - 1 point

Yeah, real idiots, don't have any brains at all.

those results aren't important - we played some lovely football in those games and that's what matters to intellegent real fans!

Don't quite agree with this. It is NOT unreasonable to expect a better points return from our last 14 games, or to expect us to actually win a game against the bottom clubs. ANYBODY can see that our strikforce is woefully inadequate, and that most of Harry's buys have added very little to the team.
And his media performances during the last two transfer windows show you the definition of a man out of his depth.

Harry has been very good for the club, but the effect is now definitely starting to wear off. We have to start planning for a future without Harry Redknapp fairly quickly...

I called up a radio talk thing...Alan Mullery was in charge . In the days of Francis it was .:-|

When Francis later made his goodbye speech he related that Spurs fans are a funny lot and that he remembered one 'idiot' who'd infuriated him by calling up a radio station to complain (about a dreadful performance) when Spurs were third in the league ..

..Pretty sure it was me (we soon tumbled down the league btw)

So 2 Spurs managers can't be wrong :-| ...must be an idiot

To even dream about sacking Harry would be ridiculous! People have very short memories, it is only a matter of a couple of months since we beat AC MILAN at the san siro FFS! I was at the B'Pool game and yeah, ok, it wasnt pretty andI was frustrated as anyone but come on guys, it's been a hell of a lot worse in recent times?????

Not without there being pressure on the manager it hasn't. 1 win in 14 is relegation form- we will need someone in to come and firefight in October if we keep Harry, so let's part ways now rather than before he bottles another transfer window because he's worried about losing the England job.

I love the football we play under Harry. All in all i'm satisfied with the season we've had. It's ending in dissapointment but across the course of the season we've done great.

I wouldn't go as far as calling those disgruntled fans idiot though. Everyone has a right to their own opinions. Everyone has different opinions on what is a successful season and what is not.

Take for example our 2008 campaign. Mid table but a Carling Cup win. Opinion was split over just how successful our season was. Some prefer a great Cup run to a high League finish.

No doubt i'm upset at missing out on Champions League football next season. However, we also have that experience behind us now. We're essentially a year ahead of City in that respect.

Next season we'll see how Man City juggle the Premier League and the Champions League. It's always going to be difficult to get the balance right. On one hand you want to do yourselves proud in the Champions League. Afterall, what's the point in qualifying for the Champions League if you dont try and get to the Final?

On the other hand, you want to qualify for the next seasons Champions League. Otherwise you wont have that opportunity to reach the final. All in all you have to be able to compete on both levels. This hasn't worked out for us this season wheere we've really run out of steam.

Next season will be crucial in winning our bread and butter games, and performing against the top teams aswell (especially at home). We need to get back into the top 4 next season. If we can do that we'll be a lot better prepared the next time around.

Got to say I agree with him, the Redknapp out brigade are for the most part idiots. The vast majority of Spurs fans will continue to support him and appreciate the contribution he has made for are club, which has far surpassed the achievements of any manager in recent history

Well either way you look at this its not good for the club image or Harry in general, As soon as the manager starts lashing out and calling the fans brainless idiots he is on borrowed time, I'd be very surprised if Levy doesn't call him in on this one and give him a right tongue lashing, After all it is those brainless idiots that pay for Harry and everyone involved at the club to have jobs in the first place, No fans means no club, All Harry is doing is making those that have worries about him of late all the more of an issue, Ive not been happy with the way our season has just collapsed but was willing to give Harry another season to get things right again, These latest comments have just made my mind up that I no longer want this guy anywhere near the club next season.

Be interesting to see if he gets any reaction in the last game against Birmingham, especially if we go one down against them.

If any of us here called a group of posters on this site as brainless idiots we'd have our accounts suspended or terminated, why can a guy in his position get away with it and not face any consequences?

You can do complex mathematics.
Therefore you are not an idiot.
Idiots call radio talk-shows.

Just for the record, I cannot do complex mathematics therefore I call radio talk-shows (must be a spasmodic movement - I'm not even aware I do it)
