Just noticed both replies were to you. Thought there were multiple people of the same opinion!

It's not my fault though. The card on my fridge pack of Stella has split so I have to drink them all tonight!

No problem, my personalities took a reply each...

I just watched that wonderkid from Mexico who scored the fantastic goal in the final of the Gold cup. Dribbled six defenders, the keeper and just curled in the far upper corner. Easily the goal of the tournament. The kid would be an ideal replacement for Lennon if he signs for Kenny´s boys. I heard he used to play for Barcelona so he´s probably not in our reach... Seems to be exactly the type we like to cream our pants about :p

What? We have him already... :)

When we announce the public hanging's of Defoe, Keane, Crouch, Pavyluchenko and the simultaneous signings of Leandro, Adebayor and Rossi .... we can only dream.

He has to be made an example of, plain and simple. Leby can't back as he will look ridiculous and no chairman on earth will ever respect him again. We let Berba go, but if he'd stayed and not played, I doubt he would have got his big move as attitude really does count.
If this is true, IF, then Modric has turned his back on a lot of people and lost all integrity. Not longer than a month ago his agent and himself were harping on about how he wasn't going anywhere, he was happy bla bla.
Such a shame but it seems that money really is the only matter that carries any value these days.
And about the wages, even if he was on 40k a week, that's 80k a month, close to a million a year AFTER TAX - surely he can survive on that. And if he is worried about getting injured and ending his career, well then you should have gone to school mate.

I'm guessing maths wasn't one of your strong points:grin:
It should, of course, read £160 K per month:wink:

He does follow that up with "after tax" to be fair SP

Nice try...but the after tax is specifically related to his estimate that Modric gets £1 million per year.

He has quite clearly Said: "if he was on 40k a week, that's 80k a month".

It's a fair cop, let him face his medicine:wink:

Its Skybet they have all sorts of things like that, for other clubs too. You could probably make a killing on that site if you are clever

Nah, the only one who wins is them, that's why they do it.

How the hell are Sky allowed to run a betting company? Surely the fact that the "report" the "news" on such things as transfers and managerial sackings makes running a betting company on such issues a conflict of interests?
