How long is the trial likely to last? i.e. are we actually likely to get a verdict tomorrow?

Anyone fancy taking a day off and hopping down to Southwark crown court tomorrow to take notes?

My office is only down the road from Southwark crown court so i can mooch around outside waiting for info to materialise. What time is it?

not similar at all, Piggott was over £3million in the 80's a shed load of money for the day

Redknapp £40k

Tax evasion is treated as theft surely?

My mate got done for stealing £50k from where he worked and got 20 months

Your mate's not a wealthy 'celebrity' (for want of a better word).... Different rules apply it seems, I reckon he'll get a slap on the wrist and nowt else.

This is just wrong. If the prosecution has an air tight case against Redknapp and something got leaked, it would be grounds for a mistrial. So no-one other than the people working on the case are going to know how air tight they may believe their case is. More to the poin no-one is going to want to be the person responsible for blowing it by opening their mouths to someone they know.

Also my apologises for posting this in the wrong place.

In perfectworldland yes. But I've just given you an example of what happens in the real world.

You only have to read the papers to see how easy pre-trial information filters out, especially in high profile cases. Look at the Strauss-Kahn case at the moment.

I guess we better knock this on the head in here though eh...?

How have we got to 15 pages without any ITK?! This is mental.

If you want some I'll give you some but you won't like it.

Someone on COYS just posted they've heard we are very close to siging Joe Cole.

There, hope your delighted by this :)

No new ITK on SpursOdyssey at the moment.

There can only be three possible reasons for this silence:

1) They're all busy finalising our triple signing of Vucinic, Adebayor and Messi.

2) There are no new developments.

3) Today is the day all the itk get together and have a big picnic underneath BEN's tree. Potl made sandwiches using blue cheese (which is also yellow). Peanut didn't like them.

Some tool from the sun today claimed that Cole could replace Modric in a midfield 4 for us and when I said he's a very poor mans VDV, the journalist came back with Joe Cole being more than a match for VDV.
