Kaka  Might as well say we are signing Messi.

No way he would sign for us. Unless his injury was to his head, and Levy has convinced him that Madrid has moved to North London and changed its name.

I am more a Higuain fan than a Benzema fan ...........though there is little to choose between them.

(((Spurs Mobile)))

We are delighted to announce the double sighing of Benzema and Kaka from Real Madrid for a combined fee of £65m.

If Carlsberg did late Friday night texts....

Class.

Last time I logged in most people on here were miserable. Now half of you think we want to sign Kaka!

Nuts

Just figured it out. we don’t want the truth, we don’t want to hear reality, we just love coming here and building castles in Spain(air). It’s like a junky, wanting a fix.

Once the truth comes out we are down, miserable nothing to do. the thread is boring.

But when a story like Kaka, benz, massive signing comes out, we love it, our drug is here; we love every minute of it.

I love it though, as the last few days has been a dull. On Monday when i hear of the Friday signing my week flies, but this week it crawled. More of the same. Season starts in 2wks, i need something to keep me going till then.

Kaka turned down Man City when they had no CL to offer, but at least they offer stupid wages. We have no chance in the world.

To be fair I would still take Dzeko in a heartbeat over Vucinic. He would be exactly what we need if given the regular start he needs, now he's had time to acclimatise.

None of those players Redknapp wanted were bad players, they were all decent players but two or three of them just weren't a good fit for the model this club needs to adhere to.

I definitely think Redknapp is reluctant to gamble. He generally likes sure things. No problem with this if your Chelsea or ManU, what he has to understand is that we aren't, and we have to box a little bit cleverer at times.

I agree, all those players are decent players, a few of whom I'd like to have seen here at one time or another, including now.

The problem Bomber, is we get this very public goading and stance taking by Redknapp. He publicly states how the chairman needs to show ambition and talks about players like Adebayor and Rossi who he knows will cost vast amounts and/or come with wages outside our comfort zone. This is so if he fails to get the best out of the squad he has, like he did last year, he can presumably turn round and say "not my fault guvna, the chairman didn't buy the players I wanted" or re-use his favourite "I can only work with the shit I've got" spiel.

I'm sorry, but this is really, really lame.

Forgetting the fact that anyone who has watched Suarez, which Redknapp has, would know that as a striker he would have been an upgrade on Defoe, Keane and Pav in one go. How could Redknapp want to sign Bellamy and then say Suarez wasn't right ? Suarez is just a much better version of Bellamy.

The second thing is his willingness to blame the "scout" for us not signing Suarez. This isn't some unknown playing in a minor european league FFS. He went all the way to the semi finals of the WC, played in the CL and for Ajax a club 45 min away on a plane and on telly every week.

Must spread apparently.

don't think we have any chance either, but don't like this reasoning. comparing back then to now is really apples to oranges. kaka's stock has dropped substantially and he probably wants to be a first name on the sheet kinda guy again.

I read all about about "transfer happening soon"
"when Monday comes it'll all kick off"

But Monday came and went and it's now Friday and nothing has happened.

Face it, no one wants our useless heaps of shit.

Its not that nobody wants iur 'heaps of shit" its that little danny wants big money for them :-(

Kaka was deemed world class at that junction though, now his star has fallen and would I believe be a huge flop if he ever came over to this shore - with us or anyone else.

How about Drenthe from Madrid? We need cover at LB and he would be good competition for Bale. Actually wasn't their ITK about an offer on the table for BAE?

Not suggesting Drenthe is the massive signing by the way.

I honestly think if this massive signing is true, it wont be from Real, only can see Diarra coming from them. I would seem to think its either Llorente or Rossi, but we will probably end up with Carlton C... I wont say it just in case.

Where did I say I don't like Harry?

One comment made and you make your own mind up on that?

Quite the opposite, extremely grateful of what he's done, it's just he seems a bit out of sorts when it comes to buying players that everyone else would love to have in their team.

You're thinking of Coentrao. Jose really rates Marcelo I remember him talking him up during the season and Di Maria had a very good season and I don't see him wanting to go or Madrid wanting him to go.

Di Maria is an out and out cheat and would be rightly panned by fans and media alike if he ever came to the Premier League.

Very talented footballer though...

Drenthe wasnt good enough to start for Hercules last year on loan, including many problems off the pitcch, no thanks.
Di Maria is one of the fans favourites and was top class last season, no chance.
Coentrao can play lb, lw, cm ,almost everywhere so marcelo will still be their starting lb.

Isn't that the sort of player Harry has a reputation for getting the best out of though?

Well, Vucinic no longer an option, signed for Juve.
I really believed he'd be our man this summer, and I'd like to know the real reasons he didn't come to us when we appeared to have him.

Kaka, no thanks, even if he would come to us.
Benzama or Higuain would be pucker, but let's face it, it ain't happening...

Could be, but drenthe wouldnt be a starter with bae and bale on that wing, and as soon as he isnt playing, he will start not training, arriving late, etc... Also, id rather have our own Rose for backup on the left
