Quite the opposite, extremely grateful of what he's done, it's just he seems a bit out of sorts when it comes to buying players that everyone else would love to have in their team.

All this talk about Real Madrid strikers, but will they sell any of them? Maybe the path will be left open for Adebayor. Man City now have Aguero, maybe we can agree a tranfser fee for Adebayor now. Only if he takes a wage cut as was rumoured he would.

I can't believe all the negative opinions about Kaka. Are we that good a team that we could turn him down if he was offered? He's had a rotten time with injuries, but last season he still scored 7 in 14 games for Madrid. That's only one less than Defoe and Crouch combined total for the season.

As I said earlier I don't think we'll get Kaka, but I think we will try for him. I think Madrid were expecting him to leave this year (there was some ITK about them expecting a bid from Chelsea), so they may have someone coming in to replace him already.

Actually Mourinho has asked for another striker because he wants three (Benzema, Higuain and possibly Adebayor back on loan if Neymar doesnt sign until January)

Adebayor is still far more realistic than any Madrid striker thats for sure.

It could still be a real possibility providing Madrid arn't interested.

But what exactly was said? Did he ask if he was any good?
Or was it more in the way of what is his form like?; Would he suit our style? Or something similar...because these are very different to asking if he was any good?
