True, I honestly keep forgetting about Piennar. Don't think Rose is capable of playing the attacking positions at the level we need though tbh. Townsend looks very promising so it might be good for him to get some sub appearances late on if possible. He could be the answer as it goes.

I think you're right here and hopefully the club do too (hence the Mata bid).
I'm not sure that any of our youngsters are quite at the point where they could be relied upon for more than the odd game here and there, plus too much pressure too early could stunt their development.
Although I reckon that Walker could provide a good alternative and become our right-sided Bale.
Bentley? Pah, we should just try to find a way to sack him because to all intents and purposes, he (appears to) no longer gives much of a toss about playing footie!

We seem to be in negotiation with Ade, from almost all the ITKs, while Diarra seems like its on. Compare this with the itk earlier in the window it sounds promising. Redknapp himself said that we where trying to bring 2 or 3 players in. While people who have heard things are prepared to bet £100 that ade will be joining us.
Even if Ade fails we seem to be looking at Llorente and a Gilardino or a Forlan as an under the rader signing is also viable.

Still a RW will need to be brought in at some point. But for now we should focus on a Striker. A back up CB, if Bassong goes. And a Cm because we have too many injuries in that position at the moment. A RW can wait till January, so can a CB really.
What would be a good signing is a striker like Nilmar, who will be able to cover as a winger as well as a striker. But only in desperation should we sign him as our N1 striker. Although he is a great player.

Mancini is an intelligent manager and I would agree that he would not under-estimate us.
Cook is an egomaniac and an unintelligent (at least in regards to football) one at that. I am sure he does not see us as a threat in the least.
And here is why we are hearing two different stories. Because both PoV are correct to a certain extent.

Yup it is possible at City's board level that we may be underestimated but I would imagine Mancini would at least caution them against that and certainly if they were looking at offloading Adebayor.
But who knows, eh?

Quick bit of info. ( My source is reliable, He has told me stuff before but i don't think it's wise to post on Internet Forums but there is a first time for everything)
Llorente = DEAD IN THE WATER, He doesn't want to leave and his agent has told Levy, We are moving on. He also wants CL Football if Bilbao sell him but he is not demanding a move.
Adebayor = We were interested but deal is dead, Adebayors wages are silly and City are not even willing to pay 1p to help us. This deal won't happen because Daniel won't offer 180k per week. We don't want to buy him
Diarra = Verbal agreement betweek Levy and Diarra's people regarding wages, Levy is trying to get haggle Madrid's asking price slightly down but this deal wll happen.
Rossi = He has rejected us as he wants CL football
Nilmar = Harry wants somebody to lead the line and money can be spent elsewhere
Eto = We enquired but Eto's wages and Inter's asking price has killed interest
Kaka = Nothing, Don't know where this link has come from and we can't afford him.
Samba = Blackburn want cash, We ain't offering much cash until deadwood leave.
Keane = Erikkson enquired for Loan but Levy wants to sell.
