I know what you are saying SP but if it was sorted months ago why is it still going on with 3 days to go? Why has Levy not reported the blue scum for tapping up the way he did with Manure and Pool? why are Chelsea still making bids? they must have a reason for thinking one of them will finally be accepted?
But that is Chelsea and Modric reefusing to accept that it was sorted out months ago, because they cannot conceive that these battering ram tactics won't work. And the media helping by whipping up a storm because, firstly it sells, and, secondly, they are the opinion formers of the now generation, who have no patience for team building and just want the best players at the best (i.e. richest) clubs NOW.
As to why Levy hasn't reported Chelsea yet, I have my own suggestion, which I have repeated several times, but will do again (just for you, Hottie ):
When Levy reported Beetroot Face and the Spanish Waiter tothe FA, his cokplaints where disgracefully discarded in spite of the overwhelming evidence. Levy is not a man to accept that level of humiliation lightly. And he will have prepared for this carefully.
Beetroot Face and the Waiter, could, legitimately point to the fact that the players were actually sold, and claim that they never believed Levy's statements that the players were not for sale were anything but posturing to drive the price up.
I'm not saying that was the case, although it may have been one of the arguments behind closed doors.
I just think that Levy is waiting until the TW is closed, so that he can state emphatically, without fear of contradiction, that he most definitely was not posturing. In effect, he is giving Chelsea enough rope and letting them hang themselves.
I may be wrong on this...but I will be amazed if Levy doesn't act, because the Chavs haven't even attempted to be subtle about what they have been doing.
Isn't much else Levy can do. He categorically said "We will not sell Luka Modric to Chelsea football club or anyone else". Reporting them will do nothing as proved with Keane and Berbatov, and the media won't let it go despite us saying he's not for sale every fucking week.
:hump:
Unless Levy is being less of a victim than seems - maybe he's playing rope-a-dope
