Exactly.
Anyone thinking we should sell Modric is saying we should let Chelsea (CHELSEA FFS :bang bully us, and players wlak out on contracts when we don't want to sell.
Anyone saying it should have been sorted out months ago (HOTTY!) - it was...when Dan Levy said he is absolutely not for sale.
What was the alternative?
When Chelsea made a derisory offer AFTER tapping him up blatantly, should Levy have said "Oh of course, just let us negotiate a slightly better price and we'll let you have him"? Bearing in mind he had already stated emphatically that none of our top performers would be sold
Must not be sold this Summer /of.
Let him rot on the bench for 4 years, ruining his career in the process, before we sell this Summer...adn never, ever to Chelsea AFAIAC
SP, is it just me or are you soften you approach about Modric being sold?
I agree though we can't sell him as a matter of principle now. If even it is stubboness on a Wenger level. Levy has stated throughout the summer that we would not sell our best players and Modric was not for sale. If he folded now he would lose the trust of the fans.
