Sulejmani's a cracking player...though probably a replacement for Luka.

AVB could go either way. I like him, maybe if we give him time he'll be class. Let's see.

Doubt it.

Totally different players that play in totally different positions.

Having said that he might come in whilst Luka departs.

Not convinced we would go for AVB after the chelsea debacle. I know the club has its issues but he destroyed them.

Seems like a few bookies have closed the book on this one which, ok, isn't definitive but it is a good indicator that there is a genuine chance of us shortly announcing a manager soon with, it seems that man is AVB.

AVB was a disaster at Chelsea. This would be a massive gamble if true. After the Pep talk and convincing myself this could happen I feel a bit meh to be honest.

We will see I guess. But am underwhelmed with that latest ITK

I believe he is much better than his time at Chelsea suggests. If the ITK is correct then I would be happy. Very few managers aren't a gamble in one way or another.

How do you figure that? I doubt Joe Lewis even knows what a 'David Moyes' is.

Just mutterings off a mate who has a few business connections through Enic and has a box at the lane. Said Lewis was over a few months ago and met Moyes personally, and has sounded him out ever since.

What is Sulejmani like? I thought JJ said this morning that our Holland trip was likely to bring back Verts and Luke de Jong?

Yeah. When I suggested de Boer was going to be unveiled as our manager flanked by Verts and LdJ, JJ corrected me saying not de Boer.

yeah sounds strange...I hope it's AVB (or a Deschamps, Blanc, etc), but JJetset's phrasing yesterday could imply Moyes to me: that who we want is "as good as Harry and much better in other respects"

If it is AVB at least he will not have senior players undermining him and running off to Levy every 5 minutes, I think Levy may have admired what he had done at porto and tried to do at the russian gypsy club and Maureen would have given him a glowing reference.

Haha, I was just about to post it. The other alternative is that sky bet are reading SC.

it just means there is a money going on it. They change quickly. I got a tip last summer that Phil Jones was joining Utd. I got 16/1 on sky bet.......told a few mates after by the time a few of us had bet the odds were slashed to 5/1

Cheers. I keep forgetting that Lewis takes the occasional break from basking in the sunshine.

Not that it matters anyway. Football is shit now. We can't compete with Chelscum, Shitty, United on a financial basis, even Arse are streets ahead of us in financial terms. We are probably the 5/6th biggest or richest club in the league and that's where we are likely to finish next season regardless of who the manager is. We had a big chance last season to prove this theory wrong and in true Tottenham style we fucked it.

Unless Enic sell the club to a new owner who wil splash the cash and we make an annual £200m loss every year nothing will change.

Football is stale and is eating itself. It's all a bit shit to be honest!

I would of took avb last season, and still would take him, one bad spell at a club that didnt embrace him doesnt take it away from what is a good manager he is. Better than Martinez.
