I work in construction. It's not unusual for most commercial projects of that nature to overrun their programmes. 9 times out of 10 due to the Client making changes/not really knowing what they want!

Furry muff. I was assuming they'd have built any time delays in

The serbian striker hardly fills me with joy - set Ajax back approx £14m 3 or so years ago ... he's hardly set the Dutch league alight.

I know who potl is....

It's FAZZA!

He just usually isn't wrong, sometimes it takes time but he's usually right, Blue and Yellow was Adebayor and Leandro, I think we know that we wanted Leandro and well Ade turned up eventually. He's certain that Vertonghen is done and has implied we should just chill out and be patient, I have no reason to doubt him.

One of the ITK's recently said that AVB was already scouting players for his new club so either it is not us or he has been lined up for a while

Wrong. When Levy sacked Comolli and Ramos he pointed to his mistake on under estimating the importance of communication ad the failings of the Director of Football structure.

Do you support Harry Redknapp or do you support Spurs? So bloody doom and gloom talking about it going tits up and Harry's seat isn't even cold.

As I remarked to Starting Price a few days ago, I'm not—or more correctly wasn't—particularly for Harry, despite his being the best manager we've had in nearly 40 years, but I'm very much against stupidity, and there's a whole lot of stupidity to be against. I should have thought that apparent to anyone with a modest spark of intelligence, but I'm clearly far too generous in my estimation of some. Any more damnfool questions?

And again, you seem to have difficulty with basic comprehension. I wrote 'if things go tits-up', not that they would. There's a difference. I'm hoping that Levy will for the first time in his career get an initial managerial appointment right, because he's been very fortunate indeed to have Jol and Redknapp to get us out of the shit.

And yes, he did admit to a mistake. Very humble of him, I'm sure. It was Comolli who got fired, however, and when Ramos was introduced Levy very obviously distanced himself from proceedings, making it plain that if things went wrong Damo was all on his own.

I hope Brownhead is right too, I just put a few gold on it. My first EVER bet, and I'm 40! Crazy impulse thing I suppose. If I lose it'll be my last ever bet too.

I am same age and I have only ever placed 1 bet before (boxing), hope you make a few quid on AVB :)

Looks like to me that Moyes is the one that Joe Lewis wants in, will Levy even get a say in it?

AVB down to 5/2 with skybet... either all sc are throwing fivers on him or brownhead could have called it good.

o_O

Haha, I was just about to post it. The other alternative is that sky bet are reading SC.

Definitely the first one. Odds move shorter when people bet on them. ITK can move this market alone IMO - somebody says something, it gets repeated across message boards, it gets onto twitter and then people bet on it. Is it a coincidence that odds start to move in the moment an ITK comes up with a comment? I don't think so.

AVB was a disaster at Chelsea. This would be a massive gamble if true. After the Pep talk and convincing myself this could happen I feel a bit meh to be honest.

We will see I guess. But am underwhelmed with that latest ITK

Yeah I only got slightly better than that at 11/4. Damn I wish I had checked SC 20 minutes earlier :)
