I know we've heard it a million times, and he splits opinions on here like no other player but Gio really is a good player for his country. Great change of pace in the middle of the park and a lovely chipped through-ball just now.

2 goals for Gio, with the second being a penalty.....didn't even start the match!! Have to admit that he played well, but I just don't know if there is any way back for him at Spurs or whether he would be interested if there was.

How depressing is that team. At least the Senegal v Uruguay was a decent game.

Rather impressed with Konate and Mane. Would be good additions to our development squad and very gettable considering they play for Maccabi Tel Aviv and Metz.
