Does anyone here have any anticipation for this tournament/competition.?
surely it's gonna be a great event, ok everyone might not wanna root for 'GB'
but still as a spectacle it should be great, ofcourse my favourites Brazil are
sure to light it up (and hopefully win it) plus other teams have good prospects to watch, anyone gonna watch it, with interest????? i'll be watching the women's tournament aswell if i can catch it, every olympics i watch the brazilian women's team!!

What does everyone think of supporting TEAM GB? for this? a 'semi' one-off event??

IT BEGINS 26/July.

I'll probably catch some of the games but not overly looking forward to it. I am however looking forward to the Euros, Germany and Holland will make that tournament interesting.

If we finished 3rd, I'll love every bit of football I can watch, if we finish 4th and manage to get CL, same. Anything else then football is probably the last thing I am going to want to watch this summer....

^ WELL the euros 'england wise are gonna be DIRE!!

i have a question for anyone who would know;

smalling, welbeck and WALKER, do their injuries rule them out of the Olympics too? or will fergie snuff the idea
and walker will be rested to regain full fitness-?
i' don't care much for Team GB but it should be pretty good with Bale and a few others, plus the other Nations!!

Who will the 3 over 23 players be ?

I suspect Beckham, Giggs and a Scottish player

My tickets have come through. I accidently bought 3 in one price bracket and 3 in another due to the wank ticketing system. I never got confirmation of the first set.....

£60 - Lower Tier, Half Way line, Row 3.
£45 - Middle Tier, behind the goal, Row 14.

I've flogged the £60 tickets to my sister for £45 and I'm going in the middle tier for the first time at Wembley.

only ruled out if they are still injured. if they are fit then they can be picked.

Beckham confirmed he's not in the squad. Feel sorry for the guy.

Giggs, Bellamy and Richards said to be the three included.

Surprised about that. Thought Beckham is first pick of the team.

Any other news? Naughton? Walker? Caulker? Maybe Kane or Livermore?

 We have Naughton and Walker count as under 23, he hardly needs developing or a appearance as a final swan song

bullshit decision imo

It is a shame for Beckham, but I wonder if Pearce thought he would over-shadow the rest of the team. Let's face it every time anyone mentions the GB team they talk about Beckham.

I wonder how he's going to fit Bale and Giggs in the same team?
