True, but he should know it will end up being misinterpreted, hence why he is then bombarded with 'what!' and 'really?' and 'no!' for the next few hours from people on there and has to clarify and retract. Im surprised we havent learnt from previous transfer windows by getting most of our business done before the 1st game of the season. 3 games and a possible easier 9 point haul if we had everything done prior to those games.

edit

Saying that the transfer window is quite slow anyway.

Yeah, but he wrote it first, fully knowing what reaction it would get, and not making any attempt to hide the fact that it wasn't ITK. It was written purely to get a reaction, then when he saw the mass suicide attempts he caused, quickly backtracked.

It's either trolling or wumming or sheer idiocy. Either way that's it for me.

I'm surprised that your surprised that we haven't learnt. When it comes to spurs transfers I'm never surprised.

Edit: apart from VDV now that was a surprise.

There are a lot of new members saying similar things.

"I can't believe we haven't learnt our lessons about signing players early ..."

If they're not available, you can't sign them. No matter how much we want to. I find it terribly annoying that it's perceived as ALWAYS OUR FAULT. Because more often than not, it isn't.

We've signed one of Europe's most sought after defenders to sure up our centre halves. We need a centre forward and the names that are being looked at are obviously taking time.

Just have some fucking patience will you? Just let it play out. THEN start casting aspersions and theories.

Tevez, Dzeko, Aguero, Ballotelli, Adebayor, Santa Cruz.

I know a couple of those are likely to move but even City are struggling to shift players, they won't be after a striker UNLESS they sell three of those, in which case surely they would just go all out and get RVP? A proven goalscorer, captain material and weaken one of their potential rivals in the process.

Having said that, they are utter wankers so maybe they will buy Leandro.
