The easiest, yet most problematic and negative way of evading Porto's stance is to meet Moutinho's release fee - around £31m.
Would Levy do that? Doubtful, but if we want him without any hassle, that's the best way of going about it.

I would love Moutinho at Spurs. I think he's a class player, and no doubt would suit AVB's system, which is very important.

They got a huge pay out for him I think which may have helped, I didn't get the impression he was desperate to get away

Can't see that happening unfortunately. I'd imagine that after replacing Luka, Levy would want his original investment back, plus whatever extras Dinamo Zagreb will get, along with a profit.
I hope I'm wrong because I think Moutinho would turn out to be worth the money as he'd be at the heart of AVB's revolution.

Not being funny, but POTL doesn't exactly have an impressive recent track record on transfers.
I'll wait for the heavyweight ITKs to start saying similar before I start measuring up the Moutinho lettering for my new shirt.

Akqa was suggesting earlier that the Moutinho deal is back on, and progressing.
I know some people think he's over-valued, but I suspect his value to AVB is way beyond that. Moutinho seems to fairly worship the ground he walks on, is prepared to leave a CL club to come and play for him and will be a supporter for him in the dressing room.
Also, it had been suggested that Levy had dropped interest in Moutinho due to price - how stubborn and strong-willed do we think AVb must be to get that deal back on again?

I think he's a bit overrated. Had a good euros but has never impressed me to a great extent at Porto. Not convinced personally for that amount of money.
