On another note, I'll reiterate what I said before in that our home crowd have been shown up several times this campaign and considering this was a European quarter final, you'd think by our crowd it was a July time friendly!

Yes I agree about the Townsend remark. In fact bring him back tonight.
Clint has scored some important goals for us, not least that one against Man U so I think you are being a little harsh. I personally like his attitude.
I would like to know when Kaboul is coming back. He has been out for bloody ages and don't even remember him getting injured.
Infact all the players you mention are pretty committed and i can't fault them. I do feel that AVB has told them to pass the ball to Bale and let him work his magic , but that is not going to work now and I would like to see a return to the sort of form we showed before Bale started knocking them in. I would like to see Adebayor go on a streak. Without Defoe, Bale and more worrying Lennon, hopefully will we see a bit more of him?!
Also Huddlestone is fairly proven at premiership level. I would certainly like to see a bit more of him. There was a stage a couple a seasons ago where we pretty much won everytime he played. On his day he can spray the ball around as well as anyone. That was before we got injured. I know AVB is concerned about his pace but as great a player as Dembele is, we need someone who can pass the ball with vision and Parker just does not offer that.
I know AVB has said he is rotating the squad, and I don't know what the fitness levels are, but this seems to ring hollow. When was the last time Carroll had any chance to play, someone else who can pass the ball better than Parker.
And as for AVB decision to replace BAE with Dawson, well I just don't get it. yes Vertongen can play there but it nearly cost us the game.

Every player we've bought bar Gallas, Rafa, Pienaar, Khumalo were bought without CL football. Wouldn't mind another few Bale, Modric, Sandro, Berba, Carrick, Vertonghen, Lloris etc class players.

Agree to an extent (on the latter part).
I've watched a lot of QPR's matches and he would certainly do a job for us as a winger... Remember that position we used to have people in who had pace?
