Times journo saying he will miss two games. No idea how they would know already
He was bang on the ball for the Lloris call - When no-one knew what was going on...

But how the fuck would he know already?

Taking it with a huge pinch of salt

I guess they just mean at least 2 games. No way they could know anything more accurate than that now.

Bale's foot didn't stick when it twisted, it slipped on the ground. That would have reduced the impact and I'm hoping means it wasn't as bad as it looked

Dunno. In that ballpark though I think. I remember there being a few thousand knocked off the attendances when we got into the CL for example. The first time I'd ever heard about it tbh. Someone started a thread because a mate of theirs - could well have been a Spam mate at that - was taking the piss out of thousands of empty seats for a CL match which, was patent bollocks obviously. Any seat that could be taken was so. It's not like we'd been waiting 50 yrs for the chance or anything.

Watching it on the goggle box anyway, there certainly weren't blocks of empty seats or even visible little clusters. Looked pretty dang full to me.

Cheers matey. Can't rep cos they've disappeared from my phone but I'm sending positive thoughts your way.

And I'm naked.

Perhaps I'm stupidly optimistic but I reckon he'll be fine. He'll be on the bench v Everton, won't travel to Basel and then he'll be back as normal. He always goes down like that and normally just runs it off but probably figured "fuck it, Billy's already using all the hot water, I'm not sticking around"!

Agree Bale is normally a bit of a pansy but when you see the times he goes down you kind of get that feeling he's gonna be back up regardless when he's writhing around. But it was abundantly clear to everyone this was a nasty one... I'm too thinking it won't be as bad as everyone making out but a good part of a month

You think Bale will be on the bench against Everton?
