Liverpools signings are nothing to be frightened of, but they are adding quality to their overall squad.

I dont think it will take much for Pool to challenge for top 4 this season, they handed out some heavy defeats towards the end of the last term.

Hope that gundogan news isn't true. Think we all love Dortmund and don't want to see the team broken up, especially to bloody Madrid, and they're constant asset stripping

I don't see how Ozil, Isco and Ronaldo fit into the same team.

Even the Christmas tree formation won't work

Maybe this:
Benzema/Cavani(?)
Ronaldo Ozil Isco
Alonso Modric
Marcelo Varane Ramos Arbeloa
Casillas

Khedira for Modric I'd imagine but that's likely how they will line up.

Unless they are deploying Bale at left back or selling Ronaldo then I can't possibly see a move to Madrid materialising.

I rate Modric much more than Khedira disgusting to pick the former over Luka. Not even from a biased point of view. I also feel the argument that Alonso and Modric wouldn't be combative enough to be redundant as they will have a lions share of the possession in 90% of games.

Agreed on Bale front, if he doesn't have as good of a season as he did one just gone as well, I can see Perez looking for a new poster boy to win over the faithful.

The Chelski trio are slightly different because none of them are as direct as Ronaldo.

Isco can play from both wide positions but Ozil has to be central.

I think it's just Madrid buying him so that he won't go elsewhere. They want Bale and or Suarez, Isco is very different and is more similar to Ozil although not like for like.

I think Isco is a great buy for anyone, but I honestly don't know why Barca wouldn't rather have bought Isco than Neymar. Neymar is a bag of tricks but is very individualistic, Isco would have fitted their collective style more.

I know this will get WTF'd but I think Barca have massively overpaid for a player who doesn't really match their ethos.

I don't think that's a WTF comment at all, BC. Neymar is a selfish show pony who doesn't suit Barcelona's passing/teamwork style. I don't know if he has the patience for the slow build up that Barca employ to stretch the opposition, he seems too impatient. From what I saw of Isco in the Champions League and U21 Euros he's suited to that style of play perfectly. If anything Neymar should've gone to Real.

So Adel Taraabt might be off to Monaco. We do have a sell-on percentage, right? I'm trying to remember, but wasn't it in the 30-35% range?

40% i think.

If Soldado leaves Valencia the Spanish league is going to be an absolute joke next season (if it wasn't already).

Wow, that's an impressive sell-on fee, then. He could possibly go for around 10m, so getting around 4m for him would be pretty decent.
