Yep. They'll get him but this summer (famous last words) appears to be a summer or two too soon.

Hopefully they'll move on to Suarez as a fall back option in a few weeks. They'll have to sign someone of significance, even if it isn't Bale. Neymar to Barca demands it.

They have signed Isco (which I had hoped would end the Bale rumours), I can't speak for any Real Madrid fans but I consider Isco pretty significant, especially if he had come to us

If there was no interest in moving bale or his agent could quite easily say he's staying at tottenham for another season.
Yes indeed. That quote is non-committal but not exactly one designed to put speculation to bed. The opposite in fact. Then again, is Bale not nearing signing a new contract so maybe just a gentle reminder to us (as if it's needed but hey, professional pride demands it I guess) that his client is pretty hot stuff.

The quote could have been a lot worse in fairness.

If Bale signs a new contract, then this will all go away for this summer in an instant.

It is all ridiculous now. Real Madrid do not have the money to buy bale.

A bit like Juventus claiming they will buy all these world class players yet could barely scrape 7 million together for tevez. In comparison Cardiff spent 8 million on there latest signing.

Real still owe us about 20 mill for Modric, they are in no position to buy Bale.

Come September 2nd we will all be laughing at us signing a real Madrid player and Bale staying.

But they're the mighty Real Madrid, and we're just some annoying little club depriving them of their right to have the best players in the world. It's not like we've shown any signs of being a fairly big club ourselves by signing the midfield general of the Brazilian national team.

Wait...wut???

people still worrying about Bale? Levy will not sell him for any money this summer, even if bale throws his toys out modric style. He'll be forced to stay for one more season as Luka was. He has promised AVB, he wont back down or he will lose AVB's confidence.

no chance is he going despite what RM or a bloke's cousin's sister's nephew overheard bale say in the men's toilets that he likes the weather in Madrid.

just ignore the crap and it will float away

Nah, they'll view Isco as their natural right. Talented player from a smaller Spanish team. It's only right and just that he ends up in their squad. You're correct, he's an effing fantastic player but the galacticos will view him as an hors d'oeuvres imo.

Absolutely. What's obvious is that his agent has 1 of 2 current agendas. Either getting bale out of tottenham or using Madrid to get more money out of tottenham for bale.

Good point. AVB has publicly stated that he has had a strong assurance from above that Bale won't be sold this summer hasn't he?

Totally respect you mate but have to disagree. Them fuckwits can do what they want. Bale might want to stay but if a high fee comes in he will go. Sorry to go against the trend.

Sitting here waiting for the backlash.

Pleasure to have you on here.

Would like to say. Adebayor you jammy jammy lanky man.

I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt this season. Will be hard to accept now after your revelations on him. And whats funny i am not suprised one bit.

Anyways maybe bringing in David Villa (really pray this goes through) will give him a right kick up the arse.

As long as ade is sticking the ball at the back of the net more then 15 times ill be happy.

But still. I dislike people that plays for my/our club and has a stinking attitude when you see players like Dawson/Sandro/Parker/Defoe etc etc play with such passion and have an excellent attitude.

This is why its so important we bring in one or two strikers to keep everyone on there toes.

I agree. Personally would be amazed if Real don't get Bale this summer. Is there one example of them doing the whole public courtship of a player and not getting him? They even got figo out of barca. I don't see why we'd be the one club they can't extract a player from.

Real Madrid can always get money. The banks just give it to them. And if they offer the £85M, surely no own realistically thinks levy is ever turning that down?
