Strange. Maybe Bale is genuinely thinking about it. No other reason his paid representative would say something like that out of the blue. Unless Bale is rather child-like and would allow his employee to set the agenda for his entire career in his lieu and Bale doesn't strike me as someone like that.

I've said before I work in Cardiff. And know a little bit he's happy at the moment. But at some point he wants to play in Spain, we all know that....

On the other hand, going against my last post - RM might be feeling the lack of any movement, even this early in the window, if they're having to pump out shit like that. So maybe we should relax a little and take it as a sign that RM are getting nothing from us or Bale's people and they're just trying anything.

Agree Ryan. This is all just designed to create pressure. Even if there is a sizeable offer for Bale on the table he isn't going to do a Modric. Madrid know this, so they're trying anything they can.

Yep. They'll get him but this summer (famous last words) appears to be a summer or two too soon.

Hopefully they'll move on to Suarez as a fall back option in a few weeks. They'll have to sign someone of significance, even if it isn't Bale. Neymar to Barca demands it.

Agree, keeping the baying hordes of Galactico loving fans happy , Madrid will just turf out this Bale stuff every week, when Hiquain gets sold then they will ramp it all up twice as much..

Pretty rare for an agent to say something like that unless his client has just moved to a club recently. He'll still want everyone talking about Bale if he leaves or not.

Just out of interest (because I was away at the time it happened) do you mind me asking what was the story behind you finally joining the site? I remember reading from other posters something like you were a bit annoyed that your request to join SC had been knocked back/delayed and you were going to 'embarrass' all the SC ITK's or something if your info was copied onto this site (please correct me if im wrong and if i am apologies, its just what i seem to remember).

So was all that sorted and now everything is groovy and you were allowed to join and now you love us all on SC?? (Don't blame you, its the best spurs site on the web by far, with a very entertaining/informative/sexually explicit group of members
