Me... I can't, even when I take the emotion out of it I could see what an absolute phenomenon the kid was all along and I always knew, and said, he would be the player he has become just as I know he will have another storming season next year because he isn't a normal good player, he is a once in a generation star. Can everyone take the emotion out of this (and the school holidays) and post sensible, constructive comments.
We bought a kid for £5m who had 4 crap seasons and 2 great ones and are now being offered a world record fee.
Which head-banger cannot see the sense in selling him now?
Taking the emotion out of it we can do better with him here this year, maybe well enough for him to stay maybe not but even if not we will still get a massive price for him, and taking the emotion out of it, with the right outcome this season a drop in price would still financially benefit us anyway.
Quite simply it was not part of our plan to sell him now and it would be bad business to sell him now even for what Madrid are pretending they're offering.
It's not emotion and it's not head banging it's sensible.
It's not personal Rupstoh it's strictly business.
