He is going isn't he?I know we all thought one more season but it isn't going to happen.

I never thought Real would offer this much money for him. Yes I want him to stay but I just can't see it.

He is not going and Real haven't offered anything, stop taking the English gutter press as Gospel

To be honest, there's no way we can justify to Bale turning down £100m in good faith. All I care about now is getting a couple more really good players in quickly!

Every Man and his dog seem to being asked to comment on if bale is going. The only people to know if he is going is the top people in Tottenham, and no one has asked them! bugs the hell out of me that everyone is so sure he is going just because Real say they want him.

It is just my opinion. Anyway how can you say for certain he is not going to go?

Sounds like someone is in denial.... Ha

I'm sure we will find out soon.

I think the crux of this is the upfront fee. If Real don't cough up then Levy will hold firm. 100m over 5 years doesn't help us, 100m upfront would (if we get it early). Just can't see Levy thinking about stripping the club of its biggest asset without getting the money upfront. Was interesting yesterday the ITK that real had offered a deal worth 85m in player exchanges - not cash. Their whole approach is based on bullshit. Real still have the get out to say that they never officially bid (just Marca). That's my take.

I think this is spot on, and if we can get the quality of player we're after from Real, great.

Personally the likes of Jese and Morata would make the whole thing feel a hell of a lot better, but I doubt they want to let them go and you have to winder if they're prepared to leave. I doubt it personally.

Either way it needs to be sorted soon - otherwise all the good work done to tie the others done (relatively) early will be to some extent undone, which would be gutting given how good I feel we could be this year

He just cannot keep his fucking gob shut can he?

nope rent a quote loves to wade in to any other teams discussion, so while this speculation was rife and we welcomed saldado to the club yesterday he was welcoming journey man charlie austin to his tin pot club. so karma does exist after all.

Are there any financial experts out there? If the deal was say £100 million over 5 years, what financial guarantees would come with that? Would it be possible to factor the debt with a bank, and if so how much would it cost to do so?

Playing Devil's advocate here. If I was Bale's agent I'd tell him it will be much harder to go to RM next season after Spurs have put the EPL to the sword. Just saying.................................

Levy has said he is not for sale this summer and levy is a very stubborn man

Real Madrid do not have the money to afford him

Massive majority of ITK point to him staying

My opinions of course also

Bale asking to leave and Madrid making offers ranging from £ 40 - £ 120 M is all RM leaked media drivel
