Why not ? He's performed in PL, Everton fans love him, he was a bit unlucky with bad injury last yr ( suarez clobbered him ). He caused us all sorts of problems last game we played them, keep an eye out for him nexy year I think he's going to have a big season, remember Suarez took a 2nd yr b4 everyone raved about him.
Out of interest who could we get better without braking the bank

Like I say, based on all the players we can choose from, I would not have him as a priority. We aim for the top!

What would you think of Kevin Mirallas as a replacement for Ade or Defoe.. I think he's a cracking player, could play wide & upfront
Not for a place up top and I don't think he will come as he needs to be guaranteed to footy to break in to the NT first 11 as he is currently behind the likes of Hazard, De Bruyne and Mertens

But who with our wage structure? he's a starter for Belgium so he can't be that bad he's better than lennon townsend & chadli by a fair bit, were talking about a back up for soldado who can play wide also.

In my opinion, he does not fit the bill in our team.

I've been over to see Leyton Orient a few times over the last season or two and their is an interesting young English-born winger called Moses Odubajo who is developing into a very exciting talent. I'm not sure how far he could go but I'm sure he'll be snapped up soon.

Ok this is an appeal to our top SC scouts like Snarf, Dinpomp and Thowig to enlighten SC with viable alternatives to Willian.

I think it depends on whether we want someone to play on the left or behind the striker or both.

Probably not considered of high enough quality, but Valentin Stocker? Schalke has been linked to him recently. Also think we could go in for Xherdan Shaqiri, with Thiago and Goetze coming in at Bayern I can only imagine his playing time is going to be limited.

We do have Chadli though...

Chadli looks starter quality to me, not sure we're in dire need of a first choice leftsided player.
In fact I'd be tempted to spread the Willian money on younger prospects.
Todor Nedelev and Alen Halilovic who we've already been linked with,
sign them and loan them out. While also go for Florian Thauvin, who could provide cover for Chadli and challenge him over time.
Remember that Townsend is an option on the left just as much as the right.

That said, Julian Draxler has a 38m buy out clause.

For me the key now is to land Lamela and Chiriches,
Coentrao if it is still possible.
Another left wide man isn't really that crucial.

I agree. I don't necessarily think Willian was targeted to play on the left although he can certainly play there.

A top class play maker has been my number 1 target all summer.

Yehven Konoplyanka, bit of a weird shout but....

23 year old LW who plays for dnipro, wouldn't cost too much either

Yarmalenko from Dinamo Kiev!

I was saying earlier this week what a good wide player he is, loads of skill, scores goals and physically very powerful!

Forgot to add in our boys in Brazil, can't remember if its Sandro or Sandro30 but boys clue us up on the next Brazilian superstar to come to Europe.

I tell you who would be brilliant for us and is going to get limited playing time this season because of the quality in front of him;

Christian Tello

Would be equally as exciting as Willian, has a £20 million buy out clause.

Has anyone who has graduated from la masia and left Barca gone on to play well elsewhere ? I just think of GDS and Bojan.
