Yes it seems like AC Milan is the one he wants to play for, so much so that he reportedly rejected a call from Barca and willing to lower his salary from 2.5m euro to 1.8m euro per year to help AC Milan finance the move. With a few months left on Honda's contract, I saw reports that CSKA wants 5m euro, and back and forth back and forth for almost a month now that AC still won't cough up the money, as they seem to want to drag on until winter and get him for free.
He's 27, just coming to his prime and in great form so far this season (average 7.12 on whoscored the last five games) despite all the transfer talk and still play at a very high level. He won't be expensive, and can contribute right now (seeing how he play internationally that I'd like to believe that it won't take too long for him to adjust to our league). That buys us time to look for the next CAM to slot in, if he is not in the club already.
Of course it's highly unlikely, since there is not any link between Honda and us for a long long time. But he's got the scoring ability, eye for a pass, with so much grace yet always give his all...oh well.

He is a hell of a prospect but there's no chance Monaco would be likely to sell. We already have Lennon, Townsend and possibly Lamela for that position anyway so it's not really a priority but it is a good call.

I see john guidetti is rumoured to be available for 5.5 according to the papers. I'd be pretty keen on him, especially at that price. Wasted at man city and certainly needs new pastures.

I think Snarf's been banging the drum for this guy but not sure if he has been mentioned in this thread. Would make more sense to me than Hulk.

I was wondering what people's thoughts on Jelle Vossen are. He has a record of 65 in 110 games over the last three seasons and looks to have good characteristics as a poacher.
