First impressions of Hulk, youtubewise - unbelievable. Looks better than Willian did clips wise. Can hold up the ball, dribble, and has one of the best shots I've seen. Pretty please indeed!

All he needs is some AVB lurve!

Everything about this post is great.

Thank you kindly Sir. A tip of the hat to you.:joyful:

We don't seem to have heard anything much of a double swoop for Pjanic along with Erik - wonder if we got short shrift from Roma on that one?

Ah, the evil and dark powers of Youtube!

I think he'd struggle in the EPL - lacks any finesse or vision.

Yes. The new coach, from what one can decipher, seems intent on building the new side around Pjanic and with all the other sales might have stamped his feet about that. Sod it. Lamela will do me right now. Take what we can get. Eriksen would seem a slightly better fit in that he's more versatile and available. Again, only seen him a dozen of so times but whatever, I guess there must be something to him. So many rave on about him. If we do make a move then I hope the club are correct.

I think Holtby will establish himself as a very useful CM addition this season anyway. Lot of people seem to have forgotten or dismissed him already.

As I said in my previous post, whatever figures you read about in the press would have been entirely fabricated.

As to Spurs selling at all, it is more than likely that AVB, Baldini and Levy sat down and determined that, actually, they could make the club stronger by cashing in on Bale.

Levy wasn't bullied into this deal. He is only allowing it to go ahead because it suits Spurs as much as it suits Madrid.

But if we can't make the club stronger.....by this i mean team. Then what?! It could be very interesting to see. Got to admit Levy has history!

Not sure about Hulk. He can be devastating and destroy any team when he's on it but he can be equally as frustrating, shooting from ridiculous positions. Passing when he should be shooting. Just lacks a football brain at times. Wouldn't say no to a loan though.
