Nope. Didn't even play them.

Oh you and your sarcasm Misfit!

You know exactly what I'm on about. The sides that we struggled to break down and relied on Bale heavily to score against. If Bale goes, we could do with someone to take over that along with Lamela and Soldado, we'll be better off against them IMO.

Bales absence from games is leaving a sour taste though. He may be injured but injured players still attend games

:sorry:

Lamela is a start but yes, someone else who is, most importantly, versatile enough to play out wide is needed.

I'd rather return to anzhi and ask for Traore instead of Willian seems as that deal is out the window than to sign Leandro for roughly the same amount. The dude is class

We all know Bale's not injured matey. He's either playing up, keeping quiet because of his precious image or has been told by us to keep a lid on it in order to inflate his value. Give yourself a break. There's another week of this shenanigans to go! ;)

Is that still an option? I heard they were holding a fire sale but is that actually what's happening? All players must go! Get yer bargains here! (if £30m for Willian could be considered a bargain) Or will they be able to calm down now they have one of their big earners off the books?

Maybe have a shuffle through their squad. Any other wide players of note for example?

Please, no, my nerves can't take that. I'd have to take to my bed like a neurotic from Victorian literature. Let's leave those diabolical twunts well alone.

Know figured are fabricated in the media but, the only positive us fans can take from the deal is that it will be a record transfer. But isn't this fabricated aswel as as you said there has been no official numbers. How gutted would we be now if he went for anything but. And therefore does the deal suit us? Know we're talking if and buts, but it's all we have to work with ATM.
Hence why I'm so frustrated with thr clubs silence

If we do the deal, then I'm pretty confident that it'll be the best deal that any club could have done. No one better for the job than Levy.

Try reading comments from fans of other clubs. Try even reading comments from fans of Real Madrid.

Pretty much all of them are saying that the figures being talked about are crazy money and that Levy would have pulled down Madrid's pants even for £60m.

And I'm very confident that, whatever the final figure, it will be for a lot more than that.

If we let Arsenal hijack Lamela after the Willian debacle the morale of the club will be shook to the rafters.

Let's not derail the thread as there has been no link to him, but from what I can tell we could get him for £17 million and wages would be around £80k+ and for a 23 year old who is similar to Benteke/Lukaku we couldn't go wrong. And their chairmen meant FIRESALE when he said it, if DL and co take him literally this could be one we visit :)

First impressions of Hulk, youtubewise - unbelievable. Looks better than Willian did clips wise. Can hold up the ball, dribble, and has one of the best shots I've seen. Pretty please indeed!

Didn't we struggle against those sides last year?
Are you seriously comparing the likes of Alania Vladikavkaz, Mordovia Saransk and Krylia Sovetev to QPR, Wigan and Reading lol

His international goals half of them have come against the likes of China, South Africa and Iraq. He also is in a drought despite being playing all the time, the only reason he is playing is to add some strength but he isnt going to make it to the world cup as first choice.

It would be like baseball bat to the face. 50 times constantly until our head was just a wet mushy patch on the ground.

That's all losing Lamela to the Goons would do to us.
