Diego Costa doesn't want to leave- the Sky Sports guy says there was no chance it was going to happen

Is that the same Sky Sports guy who said that he had spoken to Ole Guners best friend who had told him that there was no chance in him going to Cardiff??

I'm putting my house on Costa to the Arse ;)

I don't think Costa even has a release clause. Atletico are joint top of La Liga with Barcelona. Atletico are a better club than Arsenal right now, he isn't leaving.

They're in a position to WIN the hardest league to win in the world. Costa's not a fool.

Top of their game maybe an outside for the CL too, would actually be a breath of fresh air if they did.

Not so sure about that, but pretty sure he'd opt to stay where he is - club and city/country considered ;)

Having the choice between Ade, Bobby or Dimi to me is a far better option than Ade / Bobby / JD. We can't expect Ade's form (or eagerness) to last, injury may hit him or Soldado and Berbatov would be a fantastic conundrum. The fact that he's 32 doesn't bother me. In fact it's perfect for our 6m rebuilding. Fire us into the Champions' League rather than the Arse to the title.

I think, though given his background, TS would prefer giving Harry Kane the 3rd option role.

Also, release clauses in Spain have an entirely different set of rules if a team from another country comes in. It isn't as simple as meeting the release clause. There will be tax on top of it that has to be paid, I believe by the player, himself. I believe that was the case with Javi Martinez.

He wouldn't be signed to replace Soldado.
never said he would. if current reports are true it seems by now that its defoe whos gonna be replaced. im just wondering if we should be going for a replacement of the same type of player or someone who gives us another -to quote the "not so special one" - dimension
