Ricardo Rodriguez is my dream signing. Unfortunately he will be out of our reach after the WC, if he isn't already

Him, Bashuayi and Lovren and I'd be delighted. Someone like Konoplyanka would be the cherry on top but not essential as we have Chadli

FFS, this season was a disaster, Lloris and Eriksen aside, there was absolutely nothing to write home about.

So instead of criticising individuals, why don't you just support them? Lots of you are quick to bash the board and the players for all that is wrong at the club, without looking at yourselves and the negative atmosphere you've created. White Hart Lane is practically a graveyard now.

You'd think that now we have an exciting new manager, and new found optimism, we'd actually be pulling in the same direction, but unsurprisingly, we've still got those fans who are predicting a disaster under Poch, and slamming individual players for no reason whatsoever.

They are what is wrong with this Club.

Crystal Palace are a perfect example of how massively fans can influence the on pitch performances

I've never seen Ricardo Rodriguez play but he's pretty good on FM and Youtube so I wouldn't be against it.

You pays ya money and you take your choice.

Being self righteous and holier than thou, serves you no favours at all.

You last paragraph could have been written seven or eight times during Levy's reign (just insert Santini, Jol, Ramos, Redknapp, AVB, or Sherwood for Poch) and perhaps that's the reason for such pessimism from some who contribute on here.

I have paid for a season ticket each year for the last thirty years, and feel that i am entitled to an opinion on the team, it's manager or coach (or flavour of the month) and the main board. If you actually blocked all the SC members who leveled criticism of the team and management over the course of a season then you'd end up replying to your own posts.

Finally, by stating that "FFS, this season was a disaster, Lloris and Eriksen aside, there was absolutely nothing to write home about" isn't that what your ranting is against?

Were you "pulling in the same direction" last season?

Just wondering like.

That's the problem. You're welcome to hold an opinion if you like but you ain't entitled to shit.

The argument that paying money for a ticket somehow entitles you to something makes you a customer of THFC not a supporter.

Are we talking about chadli as the great back up winger?
Probably the worst most useless winger I've ever seen

ummmm ok..
yet we have Andros Townsend who is somehow stealing a living as a "winger" for us....
wouldn't surprise me if Stewart Downing had better stats this season than Townsend... hopefully we can flog him to Harry during the summer..

Why is yesterday's Jasper info (from SO) on Lloris not got into ITK section ? Was that fake info or was A&C not notified ?

69 points and sixth was hardly a disaster unless you'd convinced yourself we were going to win the title, in which case you've probably already gone up to the top of the nearest tall building and chucked your head off it. Disappointing, sure, and Eriksen aside our new signings were underwhelming (or in Lamela's case, invisible), but again, were people really expecting them to rip the league up? Despite playing some seriously uninspiring football at times we maintained our position in the top six and secured a place in Europe. Par isn't a catastrophe.

This is nonsense. The support of the fans was exactly the same while they were adrift at the bottom of the league as it was when they were gaining points under Pulis. It was Pulis's influence which got Palace to safety. Palace are a perfect example of how positive support from fans has little effect on players' performances. However when the supporters stop supporting and start becoming negative this can have an adverse effect on performances, particularly when individual players are picked on. Fans' power lies in their negativity not their positivity. Which is a great shame.

You should rewatch the Palace and Liverpool game from the end of the season, the fans reaction at 3-0 and then at each goal spurred the players to keep going, no way that would have happened at Spurs. The ground would have been half empty if we were losing by 3....

Liverpool also tends to be a great example of the fans spurring the team on...

Regardless of what we think about them, the fans help the team.

Confusing correlation and cause...they were spurred to keep going by the fact they scored a goal. Also perhaps you weren't at the home game against Man City...our support did a fat lot of good then.

Stop complaining & post it in the RO then...

I am not complaining. I am just asking. Obviously I can't give to A&C because I didnt whore it from the other sites in first place.

...
Probably I shouldn't have asked about this, in hindsight.:banghead:

Their fans carried on getting behind the team when they were 3-0 down. That will at least motivate the players to keep going. I honestly believe that if we were more positive at the Lane, louder, behind the team from start to finish we would cause am improvement (however slight)
