Sad to hear my worst fears confirmed re Kyle W. Currently nursing a hip problem myself which flared Thursday I'm currently in bloody agony and getting little sleep.

Horrible

As for Tim's role, I'd take that with a large pinch of salt personally.

ali z

on walker:I can't tell you why, put it this way it's something that he is going to live with for the rest of his life.FACT - he wanted to rest it, Tim talked him into playing, Walks should have put his foot down but for any faults he may have he is a team player at the time we had a few really bad results so he played.
HIs injury has not improved through rest as it should have, i can't say too much on the subject but trust me an op on this and we could have a King situation.
medical team tell he should not play, told you all this at the time and walks tell's Tim he is struggling, Tim pressured him till injury got too bad.

on andros/ms: We will only sell if they do.

(lets hope ali is wrong again regarding walker)

Of course lase season we heard that Kaboul was effectively finished also tbh. A 'Ledley situation'. From what I have seen so far this season he has not appeared as if he is struggling. I hope this news about Walker is scare mongering and nothing more. Thought it was after the international break that we'd see him again.

Thanks for passing on though Dovahklin, as ever. (y)

I always worry with modern sportsmen what pain killers they are using to mask any pain. I hope for Kaboul's sake he isn't risking a life time of pain for another year or two playing football.

Your worst fears won't be "confirmed" until the club announce it.

Pochettino has apparently said he will not sign any more "attacking" players and is content.

Ruling out a LWF then.....or bluffing?

Hopefully bluffing, it's one thing beating a very poor QPR team it's another thing playing the teams that won't be in a relegation fight come Xmas time.

rebrab who is very reliable has dismissed it as guff. In this post:

Yeah... That last piece is about as true as Lascelles having signed for us.

He's wrong with that one.

Walker will be back by Arsenal.

Walker's issue is his pelvis apparently. It's Dembele with the hip condition.

Hope your pain eases quickly.

Physios/medical staff don't have a choice in the matter, they just make recommendations, then it is between the player and the manager.

A good example is the medical staff told AVB to take Lloris off when he was concussed and their advise was ignored.

Ignoring the advise of physios in the heat of battle is one thing. If the physiotherapists are not able to make their case (over a number of weeks) that a player's injury, if not rested, could have serious long-term effects on a player's career then I'd say they were incompetent. Indeed, this incompetence could cost the Club millions in sell-on value - if the Walker story is true - never mind lost earnings by the player.

He gets better every game and has massively improved since he came into the league last year. Plus, his pace helps a whole bunch. Also, if he can hold his own on Hazard over an entire game, he'll be just fine.

And IF this thing about Walker is true(lets hope not), we wont have a choice but to bring him over in the January window.
I've watched Yedlin's recent games against L.A., Salt Lake and Portland and I have to tell you there is NO way he's getting better with every game. I'm determined to find an upside to this signing (other than marketing) but so far I can't. In possession he gives the ball away or gets caught in possession. Defensively he's poor - has no idea of positioning, ball watches, doesn't hustle, gets crossed on. Going forward - I haven't seen him put in ANY crosses yet (let alone good ones) and he doesn't hustle back when he caught forward. He won't be ready from Premier League in January. He'll participate in training and Spurs XI matches from January on, get loaned to a Championship or League One team next August and be sold back to Seattle in time for the 2016 MLS season.

Sorry - but watching the last few games it's obvious.

You have no idea how much pressure they are under. If the manager wants to play them, they play them.
