I think in reality, he is displeased with his own decisions, but now he is stuck with and tries to convince him self and anybody else that he made the wrong decisions at least for the "right" reasons. There you are. It's just a bitter, grumpy old man who in hindsight can't come to terms with not managing Spurs.

He'll resign before he's sacked. LVG grinds my gears when being interviewed

Can you imagine the reaction if they fail to beat QPR?

Yes he'll be given time but he'll still be expected to pick up a respectable rate of points in the interim.

He is right in the sense that the job is far more challenging. He has to rebuild a side that will challenge for the title sooner or later. The fan expectation and media attention is far greater.

I not sure why this story was posted here or why any one is getting offended by what he said?

Because anything, absolutely anything, that can be taken as a slur, even if it's accurate is usually met with people thrusting their chests out, clenching their fists and shouting "d'ya fucking want some?"

This is usually reserved for pundits and match commentators but isn't exclusive. Harry Enfield got the phenomena down to pat with his 'scousers' sketches, where they took offence at literally anything.

Where did this delusion come from that United are bigger than Bayern, Real, etc?
When I was in Las Vegas in May the whole Sterling/Clippers issue was very high profile and Steve Ballmer bid to buy them had just been received

The sports news stories were all about how huge the bid was and how it over valued the Clippers etc - they went on to compare it to the most valuable sports franchises in the world and listed no.1 as UK Soccer Team Manchester United

So to be fair there is at least justification for Man U to consider themselves the biggest football team in the world, you might not agree but it's not as outrageous a claim you may think

Great comments, quite telling to IMO.

1) He's clearly starting to feel some pressure;

2) and its obviously a far more challenging job than he first thought

Fair enough, I would blame some of the language on his english skills. Last laugh will be on us if he gets sacked. Having seen the 352 UTD are playing I'm glad he didn't come here.

He couldn't play that at our place, we dont have 2 strikers for him to pick

Taking small man syndrome out of the situation, I kind of see his point. There is nowhere near the media wankfest with spurs in comparison to united. You only have to mention united in the football world and pundits, papers and reporters are blowing their loads all over the place. With that 'cums' a huge amount of pressure, sure there is pressure with any football managers role, but it's in another galaxy at united. Not sure I entirely agree with his view regarding the squad though. Nor his view of the challenge, if he wanted a true challenge he would have taken a job at burnley and turned them into champions.

Well at least he's got the hard games out of the way early.

Imagine if we'd of had their results so far, it would be suicidal on here!

I don't think they will finish top 4 and I still think its 50/50 as to whether they will finish above us actually.
