I might be a bit if a cynic but all the stuff coming from Archway is a bit think.

Now i'm no arsonist but if I was doing this to speed up a CPO I would not leave two petrol cans lying around as evidence

unless I wanted to make sure the public were convinced it was arson and leave the owner looking very innocent

this stinks of a conspiracy to me

Reverse psychology.

If i was an arsonist (which I hasten to add I am not), I would leave the petrol cans there in the thinking that the police would think to themselves that no arsonist would leave two petrol cans behind, thus laying the blame directly at the more sinister door. ;)

This would all have been sorted out in January and Archway know that, It may of course be an unfortunate accident and not suspicious at all., in any event Archway supporters are bound to point the finger at the club or supporters.
As for Archway, they'd have got market value plus extras, now they'll get market value plus Insurance payout plus extras, just saying.
This takes me back to the infromation that said the owner was looking to retire and close up and so was hoping for a payout, this way I guess he gets the opportunity, just saying.
No doubt they have been getting unpleasant messages on social media, as I said at the time they went on and started attacking anybody and everybody associated with the club, it was like they are trying to generate offensive responses for some reason or other that, at the time only made sense as from a PR angle, Just saying.

If you were a really clever arsonist, you'd not leave the cans there, in case the police thought that no arsonist would ever leave two petrol cans behind, but then thought that a clever arsonist would leave the cans so the police would think no real arsonist could've done it, thus leading to a never-ending circular paradox where the fire couldn't have been caused by an arsonist, and at the same time was almost certainly caused by an arsonist...

Confused the fuck out of me, that's for sure.

Well exactly... And what is it? 1 week per full year of service?

I believe its a minimum of £384 tax free per year worked. 1 company I was at, but unfortunately not made redundant, paid a month per year!

Yes, because that's the same.

We grow up identifying ourself with a certain group of people and I don't think it's strange to be disappointed when fellow members of that group do something negative or shed a negative light on the group.

I think it's a similar situation to when religious extremists carry out negative things, you expect moderates to be disappointed/ashamed/condemn it.

To be honest, some of the things British people have done throughout history make me ashamed to be British.

All you need to do is turn on "The only way is Essex" to get a good idea there is something seriously wrong with this country.

First reaction on reading this was that Archway needed better security

Second reaction is that there must be a cheaper way of burning a place down than using two cans of petrol, even with the recent drop in oil prices, petrol still isn't cheap

So you're ruling out Levy?

I am not condoning threatening tweets, or aggressive behaviour at all.

But they were as recently as September not reported by Archway and were ignoring them, if they genuinely felt a threat or were worried about the legitimacy of claims that were more than idiotic distance tweets surely they would have reported them?

In the words of Theadora Josif on FB '..We are ignoring it for now..'.

The for now just seems to have met an almost too convenient lapse in regards to whats happened.

Just playing devils advocate for all those willing to blame a Spurs fan straightaway.

But you're not actually playing devils advocate at all.
You're trying to suggest that Archway didn't complain to the cops about threats in the past, therefore they somehow weren't that bothered, and so that legitimises the idea they burned down their own business.

The cops don't call threats of Arson etc by twitter 'long distance nonsense.'

Looking at Archway on Twitter - it's pretty obvious that they were reporting people, and that the were taking screenshots etc. Now there has been a crime my guess is they'll look at those making the threats and see what gives.
