What about the Archway employee's? They have been left out of work & you don't know what there social circumstances are & could be reliant on that job to support there families especially with Christmas around the corner, so I would say people have been hurt by this & IF someone started the fire they should be ashamed of themselves. As long as nobody was hurt in any way then I'm not too upset that the owners of Archway have had some bad luck. Wouldn't actively wish a fire upon them, but in the same way that I wouldn't lose any sleep if Donald Trump was declared bankrupt tomorrow, find it hard to have much sympathy for that bunch of ne'er-do-wells (on the assumption that no one was injured).
Jack Sparrow is on SC!If you were a really clever arsonist, you'd not leave the cans there, in case the police thought that no arsonist would ever leave two petrol cans behind, but then thought that a clever arsonist would leave the cans so the police would think no real arsonist could've done it, thus leading to a never-ending circular paradox where the fire couldn't have been caused by an arsonist, and at the same time was almost certainly caused by an arsonist...
Confused the fuck out of me, that's for sure.
At least it isn't boring supporting our club (apart from some performances on the pitch!)
You couldn't make this up.
Only spurs!!
The BBC should really launch a new sitcom around THFC.
Entertainment for all the family.
It would be a hit!
I didn't say it will affect the stadium but they had a flawed case with the CPO. Rather than saying their company beneficial to the area, arguing the amount offered or reasons why moving would affect their business. For a start, "if it's arson" - that's a big if. There is nothing yet to show it was started deliberately.
Second, one arsonist amongst Spurs fans does not mean the High Court will suddenly decide that the CPO decision was incorrect. This will have nothing to do with it whatsoever - they are arguing a point of law, nothing else.
Third, if it turns out to be arson, the person who did it will probably end up in prison, thus preventing him from attending the new stadium. And since he probably already attends White Hart Lane every week, wouldn't this technically make the area safer?
Any suggestion that this will effect the new stadium is at best premature and at worst completely bonkers reactionary scaremongering.
They were the wife of the owners words, not mine.
I also didn't call the threats nonsense. In fact I spoke out about that sort of action on here and on Twitter.
I was simply painting the picture of a conspiracy theory, to highlight that perhaps we are being a little too quick to simply blame any particular party. Perhasp not is all that meets the eye. Perhaps it wasn't a Spurs fan. Perhaps it was. Perhaps it was Archway. Perhaps it wasn't.
PERHAPS.
We simply do not know, and there is certainly scope for it to be a multitude of outcomes. There are motives for Spurs fans to have done it. Financial motives for Archway. And there are often accidental fires. And there are often Arson attacks with no motive.
They are all conspiracy theories at the moment, against Spurs and Archway. Because there is no evidence. So it is devils advocate, because there are many blaming Spurs fans without evidence, and I have put forward a different motive to compare the validity of the motives and therefore arguments.
Again, I condone no abuse. Just in case you try and beat me with that stick.

They argued that the stadium bid or stadium development didn't meet the requirements(which isn't their job) to benefit the community and they also interpreted in a wrong way the social factor(within the sustainability requirements) of our club to the community.
I just said they will use this as this comes in to the above more than they initially argued, hence they have almost gone around goading people on twitter.
You're on fire today. You could be the star of the show.
We could call it "Everybody Hates Jimbo78".
Yeah alright mate. Bottom line is the most obvious cause is that one of the many people who had been threatening to burn them down recently - had a few pints - and went through withg it.
Of course Barney the dinosaur could've flicked a lit ciggie through the first floor window. That is a possiblity.
Soldado? They are an item?Ade will wake up with a horses head in his bed.
Aren't the Josifs Spurs fans?Simply making a point that condemning Spurs/Spurs fans without a shred of evidence at the moment is premature.
Basically no-one knows, and in my opinion it is just as likely to be a Spurs fan as it is a random arson attack or a insurance fraud.
You're on fire today.
Too soon?
You're on fire today Dougal.
I was going to come round for Christmas but I'll pass.......
