Just putting my sherlock hat on.

The picture looks like the blaze is in the upstairs of the bulding. If this was an arson attack surely you wouldnt break in. go up two flights of stairs and then set light to the place?

This my dear watson is why I believe it is an inside job. (allegedly)

Now fetch me my dear stalker and pipe. No matches left you say? How curious?
Exactly what i was thinking....electrical fire for me, case closed.

Hey, the Crusades etc. were not your fault. I promise you. Liven up and don't go around feeling guilty or ashamed about things done by your ancestors or contemporaries over which you had/have no control. If you apply that logic, there's barely a country in the world whose history wouldn't make you ashamed if you were of that nationality. Well, Cape Verde may be an exception.
Don't cry for me. I'm already dead.

Do you folks really have cameras lining up and down your streets? That's some communist, Big Brother shit right there.

CCTV is fooking everywhere now. It's 1984 alright. Internet monitored, phone calls monitored. And we just roll over and let it happen :(

Even the BBC are running it with baseless insinuations

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-30195756?

Closing with: "The company (Archway) has previously claimed it has received threats and abusive calls from Tottenham fans."

Some nutcase vigilante Spurs fan
Insurance job
Bored kids setting fire to things for local notoriety
A boring accident

Anything is possible, making insinuations at this stage before the facts is pretty irresponsible from the Beeb.

Sort of thing I expect from the Sun, after their nonsense Gazza story yesterday.

Reading about some of the things fans have done, like calling up and threatening the women on the reception... I'm embarrassed to be associated with the club at the moment.

Firstly, every club has its share of fuckwits, thankfully they are very much the minority. However they do exist and we are no different to every other club. You only have the word of the Josifs that our fans were phoning that fans were phoning it wishing all kinds of unpleasantness on the family, whose to say it was our fans, could have been anyone claiming to be Spurs fans.
If you think about the consequences for a moment, you will realise they have a lot more to gain than we do.

Why after years of wrangling and playing it by the book, would it be a good idea to burn the place down, when we are within touching distance of kicking them out legally, makes no sense.
However, if you were facing the almost certain scenario of losing your business, would it not make sense to try and maximise your potential payout. The insurance payout would cover the cost of the buildings and everything associated with them, while the CPO would compensate you for the land, because you own it freehold.

As for being associated with the club, unless you have a stake holding somewhere, or you are employed by them, you are just a fan, like thousands of others. You cannot be guilty by association.
Of course this could all be total bollix, in that case, as you were.....
